I only just watched the results of the election and am very happy that Akarin got into undergirls! She definitely is worthy of it! She even beat out kuumin, which is a bit surprising to me. Wished that both of them got in to represent SKE

Ah so much worshiping to do, so little time.

Congratulations on making Undergirls Akarin!

While I think I'd prefer it if non-AKB members weren't involved the elections, I'm happy she's really getting recognized.


The thing I really like most about Akarin -- she's practically always smiling! Like a full faced smile too. And when I see her face I always crack up and kinda go like omg what are you smiling at so much? It's like she can't help it. She always looks like she's having the time of her life on stage.

The most recent example form something I watched:

AKB/SKE/NMB mixed team in Taiwan:

Even though the resolution is kinda crappy, I could pick her out pretty easily because of her smile and her crazy hyper dancing. Also, during Umechan's MC between the 2 songs, you can see everyone looking nervous/tense while Akarin has her usual Akarin smile.

Akarin rin! To me, Suda Akari has always been the girl with sparkling eyes when she smiles.
I didn't notice her much, but recently I can't seem to get the image of those sparkling eyes out of my head.
And although I didn't get to shake hands with her today, I will always remember those sparkling eyes I saw from afar. Lovely girl.
Apparently she's "black" like yukirin.. And her blog posts are a bit "painful" (itai) sometimes. But I believe she's a really nice honest girl.

Yeap I saw her during the mini live and stole a glance during the handshake event while lining up for Rena.
Akarin's eyes were sparkling whenever she smiled, as expected. I shook hands with Rena, Hata Sawako and Abiru Riho.

Yeah, as lonehunter says, Akarin's rumored to be 2-faced (so much that one of her nicknames is "Darth") and a master at what they call "fanfishing" techniques: her photos and blogs are just cute as hell...she knows how to tickle men's fancies, let's say. I don't know if intentionally or not...I think she's much smarter than what she may seem though.

But she's also really fun (even if a little out there), and her popularity in the handshaking is stably on the rise.

She's not one of my top oshimen, but I can't help falling prey to her wiles sometimes...

One of Akari's objectives is "To act as a ballerina in a TV series!"

Now that I think about it, it's been a year since I last had a photo shoot alone.

That it's because you let me stand on the stage at AKB48's general election, on June 9th, that I am what I am now.
I feel it every time I get new work＊

I had a goal, “to become one of AKB48’s UnderGirls”…and many fans voted for me, thinking “I hope it becomes true”, “I want to bet on Akari”.

To be such a person for those who watch over me is the single happiest thing about having joined the SKE48, and this will never change.

I will make good use of all the chances I receive from now on, do my best, sometimes overdo it or mess up, but I will always be ready to learn from my mistakes.
I will also never forget the gratitude to everyone who watches over and supports me.

I will keep living doing my best, always aiming forward.
There’s something I often repeat to myself lately. “There’s nothing more regrettable than doing nothing”.

Restrain oneself, thinking “there’s no way I can do it” or “I’d fail anyway”…and not do anything is something that will be regretted in the future.

Yesterday there was Team S's show★

Thank you to everyone who cheered for us^^

And during that performance, Matsushita Yui-san's graduation was announced.

When I heard of it I was shocked, and I couldn't think straight.

But today, after settling down a bit... I think that even if I haven't talked much with Yui-san compared to other Team S members,

Yui-san is an important member of Team S, and I like her very much.

So, to make up for the past, I hope during this one month we can spend some quality time together★

Today, bearing a very important role, I went someplace far.

And there, I felt the infinite power a smile can have.

I thought that tears have something that can move people's hearts.

Probably many people feel the same way.

It's true that tears, a part of that person you usually don't see, are pretty moving.

But... today I felt that...can't a smile from the heart move people's hearts more than tears?

No need to smile if you don't feel like it. If you feel like crying it's OK to. If you're sad you're sad, there's no helping it...

But a smile from the heart, when passing from person to person, can generate a much much bigger amount of happiness!!

Today, August 29th, is the birthday of someone I like very much.

Her entries are sooooo long and painful.. hahaha.. It's painful from the first signature phrase "Welcome home".. That's what moms/wifes say..
I only read them when I need to refresh.
But she really shines at the theater. watch any team s lod, it's impossible to miss her smile.

I'd really like to see her live, but going until Nagoya is no easy feat, not to mention the tickets just not going my way...

I love her on TV though, she's always so fun and bubbly...but not vain. Well, she's 19 after all...
