Minagawa's doing it so cheaply. Find me 10 girls in all 48G history who even streamed with cleavage like that? They have even been bans for that in SR! The Christmas one - she purposefully wore what she wore, she purposefully set the camera at the "right" angle, she purposefully squeezed her chest... Literally every girl could do that (maybe except for Nagi, but you know what i mean). But that's what I follow gradols and AV actresses for, not 48G idols. Yet the reactions are "wow we never had that, she's something better". I mean, they never done it for a reason? Whatever, if you like it, great! I personally find it cheap and that's all. ("Riripon was so cool because she announced marriage! Nakai is so cool because she is shitting on everyone!")

And if you do like her pretty much only for such superficial reasons which don't have much to do with idols anymore - and I'm not saying everyone does, you can like whatever you want! - then why do you even care whether she's a "good girl" (=virgin!) or not lol? idk why that makes a difference if she already acts like this. Nothing wrong with sleeping around imho! ("Nakai only acts bad but she's a good girl inside!" I don't care even if that is true!)

Minagawa knows what is her forte, what type her fans belong to. Orthodox idols sell cuteness, gravure idols sell tits, performance idols sell performance. All of them have one goal: to become more popular, to sell, to make a career. Orthodox fans see a girl being cute and they want to follow her forever because she's so cute. Tit fans see a girl's body and think how hot she is and want to follow her. To me it's the same thing, it's only a matter of taste.

If Minagawa wants to sell this image why not? It seems to work quite fine. Wasn't Moeka obvious as fuck? She pulled her fans hands near her chest, she did the duckface, she even told on TV that she did all of that on purpose. How in a bloody hell is that better than what Minagawa is doing? And yet, someone like @Mana loved her so much. Was it because of her tits? No, she found some other charming features in Moeka. Can't the same happen with Minagawa too?

When Sumire or Miku do gravure how subtle are they being? What is gravure for? For a good read? They take off their clothes because they know their fans are going to fap so fucking hard every single day and they have absolutely no shame of that. How so? Why is it not an idol activity? You think people loved Milky's handshakes because of her sympathy? You think Kuramochi had good sales after her peak because she was a good listener? Dasu? Frigging Dasu? Goddammit, even Sayanee was more aggressive before Sousenkyos! Would you even care about Sumire if she had a shitty body? Oh yeah, she's so friendly and nice... She and large dozens of them! Great personality...

You talk with so much disdain of people that like when an idol is cute, or tries to be sexy. As if that wasn't part of the idol industry. What exactly is an idol to you? A showroomer? For fuck's sake, man! If that's an idol you can always go to myfreecams and talk with the pretty models they have there. They also love gifts so much. Have you ever considered the possibility that the things you like don't have to be the things that other people like? I don't have any problem that you don't like Nagi, for example. Hell, most people don't! You can find her ugly, boring, whatever you want. But what I don't understand (and that's what pisses me off) is when you criticize her or other girls for things that you ignore in your favourites. "The other ones like them just for superficial reasons, but my reasons are never superficial, oh no! It's because they have PERSONALITY! The other girls don't! Nagi is short and has a small chest. Is Minagawa my type of idol? No. Do I think she's pure. Fuck no! Will she bring trouble to Team 8 one of these days? Aaaaa... most likely. But people like whatever they want to like. If John follows idols just for a good fap let him be. If Peter follows idols because he believes he's going to marry one of them in the future and he's giving his best at handshakes, good for him. If Michael just wants to find some peace of mind watching them being cute, why not? If Daniel likes SR and to talk with idols because he doesn't have any female friends to do so, he won't die because of that. If Geralt likes an idol because she's a good singer... I guess. That's why AKB has hundreds of idols, for all tastes, even for people that like ugly women (like you).

Still, just because one girl belongs to Minagawa's type of character that doesn't mean that they have to accept her breaking idol rules. An orthodox idol sells the dream of a good girl and they don't expect her to do what she shouldn't, Minagawa's type can sell the dream of a naughty girl... but that doesn't mean they have to like seeing her in a relationship either. If you like your wife wearing sexy clothes does that mean that you want (or don't care to see) her having sex with other men, is that it?
Minagawa does those things on SR but she's still within idol limits. When she does it she's not offering herself to anyone like a . This is this and that is that. If an idol has a purity character but then she's caught in a scandal we have a problem. If an idol acts like a but she's not breaking the rules then what's the problem? Who's the worse one out of these two?

P.S.: It certainly never bothered you when Onishi was doing certain things on SR. What makes you dislike Naru so much? Why did Gyoten became your oshimen? Because her SR is the best you've ever seen? Because she's a great performer? And why did you oshihen from Onishi? Was it because she became a bad person? Because her personality changed? Because she dropped SR? Because she became a terrible performer? No, because she simply cut her hair short and she wasn't KAWAIIIIIII to you anymore. Yeah... not superficial...

 

She is some kind of rare bird in Team 8. I don't want to judge her and anyone. I hope she will be OK and Team 8.
I think the difference between Yuukarin and Sumire is that Sumire can show her nice body in Magazine, and Yuukarin as a fresh bird in 48G still waiting for her chance. So she show her body in SR, a more private space comparing to magazine. So the core problem is that SR=wrong and magazine=OK, SR=cheap and magazine=normal. That's maybe the hidden standard we use to judge them.

 

I'm honestly confused when did I ever even suggest that's the case? Even in the previous post I literally wrote it out - you like what you like! It's all cool! There's zero reasons why you should listen to what some random guy from the other side of the world says on the internet! But you asked me so I answered. I make fun of myself and my faves and praise members who I am indifferent to all the time - so much that when I publish my “real” rankings people are often surprised! I post about Riru so much, yet she was still in 30s in my rankings etc. Like, exactly because I'm so superficial I'm also blunt - I like Hama's face and I don't like Nagi's face so I like the former but not the latter. I don't know what's the mystery here.
