Everyone, mornin’ ^^
Today is the “Chance no Junban” handshake event at Tokyo’s Big Sight
The 2nd division is over now, so it’s break time
This is lunch


It feels like the New Year and the staff prepared these rice cakes for us
I love rice cakes
I add soy sauce and soy flour *_*
We’ll be doing the handshake event a bit later ♪゛
After this I’m going to have a little afternoon nap

And omg, now I'm seriously excited for the documentary I mean, I was excited before, but now I'm even more xD captain!taka ftw I'm really glad they decided to air this preview for us, cause waiting until the 22nd would be painful x___X not to mention, if it's gonna be airing on the theaters, it'll probably take longer to leak, right? I think xD

And d'aww, Taka looks so adorable on the handshake event photo I love her outfit. I usually really don't like leopard print, but I love her outfit xD And it seems she's really decided to adopt the odango hair, huh?

And that figure is really cute xD Totally looking forward to hearing the new song in tv-size

I took a nap, or rather fell asleep.... So I ended up missing the documentary
Knowing now how much Taka appears, woo, I want to see it even more~
Don't mind rehashing as much since some things are nice to see again.
Taka seems to be enjoying the food Since it's katsu we understand~
The anime is already out.. talk about how time flies! Hmm, will probably take a look at the anime~
Our captain chose very nice clothes and always, looked awesome~
Hope that the next handshake event goes well~

Actually, I just watched the preview for the documentary and I was teary-eyed right from the beginning, watching Takamina give a speech to all the other members.

Ok, seriously, I was so moved by the documentary preview. If the preview is like that, the movie is going to have LOADS MORE TAKAMINA epicness, as expected.

I love group huddle scenes with all eyes on Taka. Seeing her worked to the bone with the staff and Mariko (again) tending to her as she does her best to give everyone else strength...ah, breaks my heart, but Captain is truly admirable. I can't say that enough. (;__

Also, the footage where she visited Sayaka during her radio captain resignation...so nice to catch that on video. I had to laugh a little when she walked in all natural and girly though. Different from what I pictured when we only had audio to go off of. lol. I still thought she was so pretty like that in her true state.

I could comment on tons more but then this post would be endless and it's only the PREVIEW we're talking about here. To see the support Taka gives and members give back, willing to follow her, makes me love our small leader and AKB that much more. I hope current and future fans feel the same way.

Takamina is a good leader for the group.

I'm glad she, along with the other girls, offered support to Sayaka during that period of her life.

Can't believe I cried, AGAIN!
Hearing the resignation was one thing but seeing it was heartbreaking!
Hate seeing Sayaka cry!!

I'm glad that many members truly support each other and you know that the Captain will be there for them [rock]

I just watched the documentary, and I have no words.

I actually feel really lame right now, cause this is a forum, and it's supposed to be a place for discussion, and I can't think of anything to say aside from "it was perfect." But even if I have nothing to say, I just needed to express how I much I loved it

I had no idea that Taka had collapsed on Surprise wa Arimasen... when did it happen? Like what performance?
It was so... ugh. Everyone fanning her, and she's keeping strong, sitting, giving advice to everyone else, but then when she's done and lies down, and they show her face, she really looks in pain.....

On a lighter note, I thought it was funny to see her without make-up when she went to support Sayaka. Rare sight, since she's always so serious about not being seen without it she looked so cute there's one thing though, I think I remember, from when the radio rips got out, hearing that Taka went there in her pajamas? I'm trying to remember now, cause I don't know if that dress looked like pajamas, haha.

I'm at the same time so proud and so happy to be Taka-oshi

I just watched the documentary and she looks good without makeup,but happened to her during YYG concert?Did she fainted?Cause she's sitting and talking to the members while the staffs are giving her some air.After watching the documentary I just realized,she's a very strong captain.

Just watched the NHK Documentary.

Words just cannot describe just how much respect and admiration I feel when I watch Takamina in a show like that. A girl who is such an amazing, strong and capable leader who supports all the girls no matter who they are and who doesn't let her own sadness and disappointment get in the way of showing her support for another girl and their happiness. Who even puts aside her own physical pain and sickness in favour of encouraging the group and carrying out her responsibilities as the Leader of AKB. Takamina has earned the respect she has. A thousand times over.

I'm glad that this documentary (and the movie which is to come) aired, because it showed fans a side of Takamina that, while shown in glimpses previously, hasn't truly been seen in such a complete manner. That is the Takamina that the AKB girls know. That is the Takamina that we love.

And it makes me proud to be a Takamina fan.

P.S. Sorry, I just had to get that out. Oh gawd, Imagine what I'm gonna be like when I see the movie >.<
But damn. It kind of makes me think that, in Takamina, I see alot of the skills and qualities that I personally would like to develop. Maybe thats part of the reason why she is my Oshi....

I didn't catch everything but she said that the performance for Kimi to Niji to Taiyou to was particularly bad, and that for the second day, there were songs that they wouldn't be able to rehearse as well as shuffle units so she asked everyone to do their best.


I'm too overwhelmed by the whole documentary to have anything constructive to say.

I have to agree with this though:

I was just thinking the other day that one of Takamina's best qualities, what makes us fans, members and staff love her, is not something that would be readily apparent to new/casual fans. So I'm glad that this gives them the chance to see why Takamina is respected by members, by the stuff, by the fans, why Takamina is called the 'conscience of AKB', and why Akimoto Yasushi said that 'AKB48 is the story of Takahashi Minami' (AKB48とは高橋みなみのことである).



A bit late but Re: Takamina's Janken video, her camera man should be called Mr. State-The-Obvious, lol.

Did you watch “Waratet Iitomo”?? ^^
I was nervous, but
Since Sayaka was there, I was a bit relieved *_*
After Iitomo finished, I moved locations
I went to participate in the AKB48xHotto Motto’s “GO! Katsu Fair” to cheer for the students preparing for their exams ^^
The 5 members there were
Takahashi, NyanNyan, Mocchii, Moeno and Ami

Exam season is getting up to speed
Starting on January 7th
“GO! Katsu Fair” has been put into practice ^^
The fair’s 3 main dishes are the
“Roast Katsudon”
“Cream Stew Katsudon”
Okonomi Sauce Katsudon”!
Everyone, have you eaten it??
They’re all delicious, but
Takahashi recommends the “Roast Katsudon”
Katsudon is tasty, as expected *_*
