Just saw these right now and they were great! IMO, I think Takamina had the best dress. And I love her hair especially when it's curled and tied up in the back. That's a really cute dress and hairstyle! When I saw the performance, I thought they were other dancers, but when it focused up, it was them. That was the coolest part though!!!!! I LOVED IT. And I also really like how they mashed up Beginner; EbiKatsu; and HebiRote together. Those people are lucky that they got to see them.

Good evening everyone
Today we were on “MTV”



Did you guys watch it??



Oh my~
I was really nervous…



It was our first time participating on MTV!
Our first time hosting!!
I was nervous :O



In addition to hosting, AKB48 also performed

Moreover, we were #2 right after Lady Gaga!!!! :O


Our songs were
M0 Dance Performance
M1 Beginner
M2 Everyday, Kachuusha
M3 Heavy Rotation




M0 was our first time having a dance performance with just sounds!!
I felt a bit insecure about “just dancing”…

How was it??
Did we do okay?? ^^




Yeah…




Surely we did alright!!
(Positive… lol lol)





Nevertheless…

Lady Gaga was so amazing…

Her performance and expressiveness.



I saw her from backstage and it was overwhelming…



She gave me motivation…



We still have some way to go, and I feel like I want to work eeeeven harder to become like that!!!!!!





Honestly, I was a bit anxious about hosting for the first time, but it was a real honor to be there

And we’re really grateful to the staff that were kind and supported us due to our inexperience

but I couldn't see the girls clearly, the lighting was..... DARK!

but usually she always appears in boyish style or in girls style and now when she appears like that. she's look so woman (mature).

Oh yeah! I noticed one thing during AKB48's performance on 2011 MTV Video Music Aid Japan yesterday!
I thought Takamina should be on the center in BEGINNER song, is it?
Are they rearrange the position?

There are 6 dance formations for Beginner and Takamina's is one of them. However, those formations were only in use during the period where Beginner was released and promotions were still going. Since it was released a long time ago, now whenever they perform Beginner, they will just use Acchan as center, which makes sense because her formation was also used the most in TV appearances and she's almost always been center.

they are: Maeda At., Oshima, Shinoda, Itano, Takahashi, and Matsui J.+ Watanabe

The cool thing about it is, it starts with Takamina in all versions because she has to signal which formation they are doing this time. (not like she actually calls the shots...but still ) I think one of the episodes in AKBingo explains this but I cannot find the video now.

The MTV perf was so dark but I assume it's a usual Acchan center. I also like how they include the dance break in the middle of the song in recent performances.

Anyway, I like all the girls' outfits, esp when Mayuyu and Takamina did their MC, it's white and black and they're both really cute.
