Yui's the current guest on Yoshimotozaka46 ga Ureru Made. She did a tongue twister, then a bridge. Then the hosts asked to do both at the same time.

She was mostly center for kazeni fukaretemo in the tokyo dome final! She has so much energy and is unbelievably adorable. Big things in store for her future.

The truth is that from the beginning, she was the girl of the second generation that most caught my attention.
But little by little I feel like the staff is pushing it back, denying it in the background, giving more importance to other members of the second generation (that some of them have turned out to be fabulous too, so there is no complaint about other members ).
But I do feel that TakeYui has a lot of potential, and maybe just my impression, but I wouldn't like it wasted.
Thing that in this group seem to be specialists in wasting talent.

Watching 28 Fragment, and what she said about fans not wholeheartedly accepted 2kisei confirmed my gripe about past and maybe present hardship with transition of Keya. How 2kisei are burdened with extra ordeal that 1kisei doesn't have to face before.

I think it's about time fans let go of past bond to welcome the new bond. At least for 2ki sake.

(Then again I'm probably throwing empty word here.)

More then empty words aren't them a bit too late? While I saw people having hard time accepting the first half of 2ki, which means this problem existed in INTL community as well, it seems to me things are better now and 2ki is accepted and loved as part of Keyaki.
Perhaps I don't see the whole fandom so I could be missing fanwars going on, but in my little Keyakiland part this is one problem that doesn't exist at the moment.. not I think it will exist regarding second 2ki batch.

Regarding TakeYui words I'm glad she called out fans about it, yet I doubt this is a only-Keyaki problem considering the system in which 48 and Sakamichi groups have been created.
Even so, it seems to me fans always had hard time understanding where words become just plain hate so we ended with Techi calling them out on radio, Shida calling them out on social and now TakeYui on documentary
    ...
perhaps it will be the time Keyaki fandom will finally grow..

No. I think Keyaki's problem is entirely unique because the "21 only" fans, this very strong image of "the 21" of them. So the thoughts that a group of strangers (new members) entering the group and "destroying" that image disturbs a lot of fans, plus the fact that once they enter the all-member senbatsu will definitely come to an end. And since some 2kis are originally fans, they somewhat could understand that and feel like intruding onto something

I wish peace could be achieved so easily from few sentences and tweets

I'd agree with you if I didn't see Nogi fans insult 2nd/3rd gen or 48 fans insult... whoever happens to be the day target... it's not a Keyaki-only problem, but you're right about the fact 21members senbatsu and 21 members bond created something unique also exasperating the situation and paving the way for this outcome.
Like I said it's not something I see anymore around me but it's absolutely something we should call out everytime, here, on socials, YT or IRL
In the end it's up to everyone of us.
Hopefully TakeYui's words may help us to be better from now on

I've never seen Nogi fans insult 2nd or 3rd gens.

Obviously any member or generation can have antis but I've never seen the kind of overall hate that Keyaki 2nd gen when they were first introduced. And it wasn't even hate so much as it was it was just like what too much idea said. Just a general animosity to the very concept of having a 2nd gen in Kanji Keyaki which taints the "All 21" purity. And that definitely is something unique to Keyaki. Nogi started with a Senbatsu/Unders system right off the bat and everyone knew they were going to bring in more members to get to 46. And Hinata had a 2nd gen way before they even became Hinata. And as far as 48G is concerned, AKB had three generations before they even got a major label record deal and the first three gens are considered the OG members.

I remember when 2nd gen was announced, a fansubber (can't remember who and wouldn't say even if I did) rage quit from the Keyaki fandom entirely because having to accept a 2nd gen in Kanji Keyaki was like "drinking down feces". This was before the members were even introduced. Definitely a unique take.

Obviously its calmed down a lot now, and I think the vast majority of fans really like 2nd gen. And its hard to care about the "All 21" thing when half of 1st gen have graduated including many top members.

Well, I like to think I'm late and what Chukemon referred is already resolved in the past. But that means going forward, there should be no more girls called out fans on similar topic as a sign we're improving.

Afaik, there was this history with AKB team K, but it's not about rejecting fresh blood as at that time, Momusu still reign and they holding audition each year. It's more toward how the decision(to audition 2ki) are taken prematurely when AKB are not even taking off yet with major record label and theater stage everyday is all they have. There should be a backlog of utter confusion among old poster here during 2nd audition, but the enmity are generally directed toward AkiP or management rather than new members

Of course with 48G satellite group, the 3 teams format is already integral to the franchise so their fans already expect 3-4 gen there.

Hm... I disagree for 2nd gens in Nogi. They didn't have an easy time in the beginning at all.

They were introduced only about a year after Nogi debuted which already was enough reason for fans to start questioning them, and when Barrette came out Hori got huge backlash for being center right after Maiyan was finally granted center in Garuru. Barrette MV was infamous for having more dislikes than likes for a while because of it. Not to mention three 2nd gens graduated after only about a year (compared to the zero 3ki graduates in the 4 years that they've been around), and I would definitely attribute some of the reasoning to fans refusing to accept 2ki.

I definitely do think Keyaki 2ki had a very hard time but let's not rewrite history... the Nogi 2ki girls had a difficult time getting accepted by fans as well.

Generally though it seems Japanese fans have already warmed up to 2ki. I see more of Japanese accounts with 2ki oshis in their profile photos than current 1ki nowadays, and I think their performances at Tokyo Dome and the 2019 year-end shows have shown their performing talents. If anything, the ratio of international fans that are not accepting of them are higher.

I think one big reason why it may have been hard for Keyaki 2ki is that they were kind of thrown into the live performances rather quickly (Yui being one of them, shame cause she really danced her heart out for her first broadcast!) to replace the graduated members which probably left bad feelings for the fans of those girls. And it's not as if they had their own songs to perform yet so when we see them performing, it's inevitably in "someone else's position" and will be compared to whoever used to be in that spot. Once we see 2ki perform their own original stuff and new songs, I'm sure whoever was on the fence will warm up to them.

when the kenkyuuseis announced the showroom delivery a lot of hinatazaka fans were against it saying hinatazaka was fine as it was or asking them to make a new group for them. it's not only a keyaki thing but maybe that's what you want to see

I consciously avoided mentioning Hinatazaka here when we consider their fans are originally part of us keyaki fans. Worse as that means we have a fault too in giving them example of a questionable behavior for supporting their girls(Circa Hiragana times).

But idk if they are mentioned here just as tools/evidence to disapprove the notion. I get the argument, but don't it leave a bitter taste afterward?

With the events of the past 2 or 3 months I've taken a renewed interest in the group and Takeyui has stood out for me so much. I've been enjoying her appearances in SokoSaku and I think she's now probably my favourite 2ki member. I really like that short video and I'm looking forward to seeing more soon!

This is the true gem of the PVs...! Music-wise it's by far the best with this funky-jazz tune and the brass improvisations. Takeyui is SUPER cute and her dance varies from girly hops to nasty hip-hop.

I don't know about you guys but this one is for me a tad better than Inori's wave...
