秋の紅葉がとても綺麗で、夜は神社から見る夜景がとても素敵で心が落ち着きました！1日満喫してきました。.

そろそろ今年も終わるので竈門神社では神様にいつもありがとうございますのお礼をしてきました☺️最近はすごく楽しくて充実していて「毎日楽しく頑張って生きる！」っていうのが私の心の持ちようなので、、お願い事ではなく、神様に感謝の気持ちを笑.

Hello everyone! Long time lurker here, first time poster. I'm not really too into the 48groups nowadays, though I used to be a big fan.

I liked Mikurin since her debut. So I'm not trying to hate or anything, but I was wondering if I'm the only person who thinks she looks a lot different than she did, like, last year? She got lip filler, right? I don't really care either way, but I was thinking it's crazy how different her mouth looks. I know she's still growing, so maybe I just have an outdated idea of what she looks like.

I looked back in this thread and I think she really started looking different around the time she graduated high school. Maybe it's just makeup or the way she edits pictures, but it was surprising to me. What do you guys think?

 

It's because you only have seen her own pictures from her instagram/twitter. Most pictures in here are from her own social media and she's relying on filters with max settings in there. Even the professional photos shot for the magazines are not as edited as her own which is normally kinda rare. She likes that "purikura" (japanese photobooth) look.

Her upper lip remained unchanged for years and years, being quite thin (although nothing wrong with that or the way she looked), but then suddenly it changed, a lot, and this was quite noticeable, whether in pictures or live video.

Hi @moechen and welcome to the forum!

That thing about 'lip filler' was remarked on by @theobserver about a photoset posted last April after her High School graduation. I don't know whether she's had filler, using better make up or what. I don't actually care so long she's happy in her career.

As for photo enhancement in social media, don't all Idols do it? Some look positively bizarre, like porcelain dolls!

Thank you for the responses! I guess it could really be a combination of things, after all. I was mostly wondering if I was somehow the only one who noticed; it was a little drastic. I must have missed someone mentioning it here.
She definitely seems to be going for a purikura effect on her personal pictures. It normally doesn't stand out so much to me when looking at idol pictures, but...her lips are so full now! It's cute in a different way.
I hope she has a really successful 2021.
