I think Piichan is not a person that catches your attention the first time you "meet" her. She may come off as grumpy, cause she hardly ever smiles. But she's actually a funny person, and Ume once said that Piichan is always making the other girls laugh backstage. So you're telling me that the popular members are popular because a lot of people like them? I don't know, that's a little far-fetched.

More like a lot of the popular members are popular because they have something that makes them popular (other than just a management push). I thought it might be fun to talk about what personally draws me to certain members and therefore how they earned my votes but I guess that's a bad topic around here or something, judging by the reactions.

I apologize if I offended you, and please don't stop posting your opinions. We should have a thread where people can sing the praises of their favorite members. Like a place where you can try to show to other people why that girl you like is so awesome. We have the member threads, but I think a lot of people only visit the member threads of the members they already like.

I agree with you, most of the fans don't bother to discover more members they still don't know. However, I can totally understand it, I already follow too many members and spend too much time in the fandom, if I gave an opportunity to all the members I'm sure I'd end up having more than fifty oshis

Re: The 2013 Stage48 Member Ranking Results (Ranks 157-200!) Made it with 4 minutes to go until Wednesday is over! Updating the list to rank 157, I mean, not writing this post. More people from last year's list who are finally appearing this year. Generally though, they seem to be being pushed down the ranks by newer girls who you've all voted for, because if you take a look most members have dropped their rank compared to last year with few exceptions. Team H remains the only team whose members all ranked but none have appeared in the ranking yet Who will be the first to break this trend? (i.e, the lowest ranking Team H member?) [sealed] And speaking of Team H, if you've noticed the Sakura birthday banners and care for her at all, please send her a birthday message by clicking the link in my signature! (shameless plug yes, but yesterday was her birthday) Otherwise, yeah, comment away about anything really. For those that didn't know much members before, this should help a little bit, but I think you'll be even happier knowing that the members you voted for haven't appeared yet because they ranked higher. We've already reached the point where no one member can really push a single member up, so from now it's definitely all members that have at least two or more supporters, usually more, here on Stage48 as you can tell by today's ranks. Tomorrow will bring ranks 101-150 (there's 7 members tied for 150 which is why today stopped at 157) and you can see the members being spaced out already, sharing less and less ranks. I'll also be commenting on the results and answering some posts after I update the team's rankings in the post right under the OP.

KAWAKAMI RENA (+1) I am slightly disappointed with Miki's slight drop. I thought she had a really good 2013, and I have been impressed with the passion of her fans. Slacker, I was surprised to hear this considering you are one of the people on this forum that generally puts a positive spin on things (unless of course we are talking about hair) I am curious to hear who you voted negatively for, and why you would have so many on your potential "negative list".

Though I do agree with the sentiment. [nod] @Dreams Piichan deserves lots more love from fans. She caught my attention the first time, mainly because she wasn't the smiling monster that the rest of HKT generally is. And she had (still does) a really interesting, thoughtful look to her. Plus the members all seem to love her. I do need more Piichan in Odekake and the likes. Looking forward to the new Team H debut with Piichan and Haruppi. @Silenka Your opinion would be welcomed by me. Share it.

Lets see so far 6/20 of the members i voted for are already up. with it being 0/1 AkB 5/10 SKE 1/3 NMB 0/3 NG46 0/3 HKT Guess i can't say i'm too surprised about Saki, Mai, Risako, and Kanako being rather low in the rankings, but i figured Seira and Yukari would have ranked higher.
