He did not say that. Sasshi lost her voice during a handshake event last weekend and her throat has been hurting since. Aki-P said her voice has become pitiful, so she couldn't record today.

CNN Japan is going to show a 30-minute special on Akimoto as part of their "talk asia" program. It'll be broadcast on various dates starting Friday at 7.30 pm.

Strangely enough, only the middle part of the message got translated. Weird translation too, if I might say so. Well, most of it is understandable though.

its like aki-p trying to be centre in google+ senbatsu...
he gets like the quickest responses and always 500 comments...

but aside from that i dont like how hes giving like 3 solo debuts this year
solo debuts are meant to be special and if you see the mayu solo debut thread and sashi's they both only have like 3 pages!

too much in a row makes it boring
and besides their are people like takamina that have a dream to be a solo singer so why doesnt aki-p give her a solo debut [boom]

^ In this case I don't think it was all Aki-P decision to give these girls a solo debut. They were both chosen to feature in drama's based on their acting/variety performances. When you have AKB members in your drama it kinda makes sense to give them the opening song since that will attract even more publicity. I don't think both of these girls are at the start of a full solo career.

It's not like Aki-p is sitting in his study thinking about who he's going to give a solo career (debut) now and picks Sasshi/Mayuyu over Takamina.

^ ^ Agree with discotheque, their solo debuts are so linked to their TV shows, its not Aki-P who decided to give them solo careers. And its unlikely either of them will have a follow-up any time soon. Wasamin on the other hand - all the best for her!

Already appeared on youtube, but with Japanese dubbing over the top of it so you can't hear the English speaking... (I guess they need to dub/sub the Aki-P bits for the general Asian release then)
