I started reading Magister Negi Magi today. It's... interesting. I like the art, it somehow reminds me a little of Western comics. And there are violent women. Always a plus.

If you're into basketball, try Dear Boys. It's pretty nice. Also started re-reading the Kindaichi series. Currently following Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Eyeshield 21 and Fairy Tail.

I'm into shoujomanga but I like shounen too. I recently bought Host Cub vol10 man thsi manag is funny. it just cracks me up xD

Hana Yori Dango is my favorite manga. Though teh art is not taht good in teh beginning I love teh story. I liek first hal of teh story teh time before Tsukasa nad Tsukushi started dating is my favorite. But whole series is wonderful.

Skip Beat is another one. I love the plost and art is awesome. But the plot is just soooo deep. Even though thsi manga is somewhat lacking in romance part it's capturing. You just hafta read more and more and find out what's gonna happen next.

Girl Goy Game. HA HA! this mangatotally cracks me up! I love all the characters esp. Hamaya. Poor guy he is as unlucky in relationships as me. xD Art is nothing special but you gotta like all the jokes even though it gets really weird sometimes.

well now i prefer bleach as a manga more than bleach the anime cuz its going through this filler thingy again and i really have a lot of stuff to do instead of checking every ep wethear it is a filler or not!!!

u know that the whole BOUNTOU thing dosent even EXIST in the manga???

quite pathetic to make a whole new different thing and add it to the original thing!!

Sorry, to bump a dormant thread, but I figured I'd make the announcement here: I just finished reading Inu Yasha! Yayuh!

I've spent forever reading that series, and wondered when it would end...and it finally ended! Holy cow! (And to think that it's heavily influenced my writing!)

Anyway, I'll be moving on to finish (or at least catch up to) other manga. Wish me luck! :D

Okay, guys...after a long hiatus, I finally did it. I finally finished Rurouni Kenshin. B-)

I really liked the ending. Overall, the story was long, but very good. Nothing felt superfluous to the story.

Seeing RuroKen come to close, like Inu-Yasha, has given me drive to finish my first story. Once I sort out my new life, I'll definitely return to writing.

    ^So, you've just finished reading the 2 mangas of my all time favorite;

I see complete opposite of the 2 mangakas. Takahashi Rumiko is a good and funny storyteller as well as jokes, she just know where to put the climax from start to the end...but unfortunately she's not really good in putting the anti-climax...the end of Inuyasha is quite dull, if you ask me.

Whereas Watsuki well I wasn't sure what he tried to tell the readers until the Shishio's episodes. The only interesting side of the episodes prior to Shishio's is that he put some sort of historical background to it. But once it reached the Enishi's episodes, especially the Bakumatsu flashback, all the climax and anti climax were all in the right place. 5 stars earned...good job!

    I never knew you're a writer, Gideon :D
CMIIW: Inuyasha is older than HP right?
I think JK Rowling(if not by coincidence) take some of the ideas in Harry Potter from Inuyasha. For example:
    1. Horcrux=Yura's main skull/Naraku's heart,
    2. (Pure blood, halfblood, muggle born)=(Dai youkai, hanyou, human),
    3. wands that just sprouts beams and stuff=The swords used by the characters in Inuyasha, they too mostly shoot objects right? Rarely see hand on hand combat

Anyone here reading (or even heard of) Kurogane no Linebarrels (Linebarrels of Iron)? I just read the first 4 volumes today...and I love it. Its already my new favorite manga. It has some of the most entertaining characters of any manga I've read in awhile, and in my opinion, some of the coolest mecha's of ANY mecha series (oh, I forgot to mention, its a shonen mecha series...just in case you were wondering)

Anyway, you should check it out if you can. For anyone interested, you can get the first 4 volumes here:
