The ordering, shipping and arrivals thread

I know avex has become quite restrictive with overseas sales (wonder why), but how does it influence the dvds from other groups? Or is the restriction due of the dvds/bluray prices?

 

I've just taken a quick peek at Amazon Japan to look at the current situation regarding HKT48 BDs and DVDs (which I think are distributed by Universal?):

Can be shipped to the UK: 5th Anniversary BD & DVD, Sashiko du Soleil BD
Can't be shipped to the UK: Summer Hall Tour BD & DVD, Sashiko du Soleil DVD

It all seems very random!

EDIT: I've just looked at CD Japan, the most recent HKT48 set which appears to be available for UK shipping is the 2015 Zenkoku Tour BD & DVD, neither of which can be shipped to the UK from Amazon.

 

Post has been slow this month (I'm still waiting for my NGT48 CDs for instance) but I've had a few things come ...

NGT48 1st - Seishun Dokei - Types A-C .... CDJapan sent these out (individually) in quite big boxes (due to external posters) which meant they took ages to arrive using SAL. I did have the amusing incident of my postman knocking on my door and say "ah good, you're in ... I'll be right back" and then coming back with his van and about a 2 foot pile of various parcels (including the boxes for these)!

Got my copies of Negaigoto no Mochigusare today, on the last day to vote in the sousenkyo. I was worried that they wouldn't arrive in time. I would note that I've been having all sorts of issues with Amazon JP and poor packaging of orders. All of the cases for the SKE48 release were damaged (in some case quite badly) due to them just being thrown into a loose jiffy bag rather than being shrink-wrapped onto some cardboard in a box. They gave me a full refund but that is not the point. The AKB48 CDs were shipped in the same way but fortunately there was only a small crack in one case.

I've been having problems too with Amazon.jp's packaging, in fact the DHL guy yesterday expressed his own surprise at the battered box and invited me to check tbe contents, but fortunately all was well with my SukiNanda CDs which were shinkwrapped on cardboard. I'd much rather use CDJapan as their packaging is so much better but they don't discount the prices of new releases.

 

the last two times i have used cdjapan i've been charged twice :/ i think it was probably cause i used a debit card as a credit card.

 

Yuria photo-book arrived this friday.
