SNH48GROUP officially announces today that its 8th General Elections season will launch on June 5th, 2021 The 8th elections will take place on August 7th with the voting site opening on June 1st. The title of 8th ssk is 世界的48种可能" ( 48 possibilities in the world). the single goes on sale on June 5th and comes in 4 versions. Some other rules include : if any BEJ48 or CKG48 member ranks in the TOP48 they choose to transfer to either SNH or GNZ .
A new "live elimination system" will be implemented where the host will announced the TOP 148 on election concert night and those who are not TOP 148 will had to unfortunately walk through a "farewell tunnel" and board the bus to leave the concert venue.

The "farewell tunnel" seems very harsh It's like a walk of shame....and that part is going to be live, too?

 

I know. Its sucks. At least they are just leaving the stadium not leaving the group. I guess this is step up from last year where the bottom 20 members had to basically leave or join idft

 

Hopefully those girls won't be part of IDOLS Ft in the process

Here's the audio for 笑忘歌. Its described as song with the classic 48 style. And I totally agree. Even though this EP is pretty short, I do enjoy both songs.

 

SB made alot of announcements yesterday
Former Member Mo Han will release her 1st solo EP "夏天的故事" (Special Summer). The EP contains 3 songs: Be Myself, Only Remembered & Special Summer. The EP will be released one track at a time. Be Myself comes out June 10, "Only Remembered out June 15 & Special Summer out June 21st

New stages and dates revealed for all of SNH Teams
Team SII will premiere a new setlist for "Plan Salvation" on June 18th, Team X will do a revival of GNZ48 Team Z 3rd stage "Trigonometric Functions" on July 2nd ,Team NII will do revival of BEJ48 Team E 3rd stage "Eclosion into Butterflies" on July 9th and finally
Team HII will debut a new original stage titled "终极任务" (Ultimate Mission) on July 23rd.
