AKB Kousagi Dojo is AKB48's new variety talk show that is replacing Shukan AKB. 9 AKB48 members will be on the show each week dealing with dilemmas from the guest-of-the-day. Each week also features 1 AKB48 member's personal Q&A session and also members' freestyle dance at the end of the show.

That's a new show...? Hmm...what is this all about? And what does it replace, if applicable?

 

It replaced Shukan AKB, which was ended last week.

 

Basically a variety talk show. 9 AKB48 members will be on the show each week. This week features Takamina only.

Wow, totally didn't see that coming...strong Maho-chan!

 

This show is growing on me, it might not be late night mission type variety like AKBingo, or Nemouse, or Shukan, but looking at episode 2, It looks promising as a talk variety that you get to see bits and pieces of members. It reminds me of that AKBingo focus group segment that they did a few years back.

Based on the time slot that it is on (late afternoon), it seem more fitting than Shukan did.

Episode 3 looks to be fun. I recognizes 2 of the 3 guests for nest week.

One is a popular female wrestler who is also a gravure idol due to her look, can't remember her name off my head but you can also see her in some variety shows and if I'm not wrong, is a understudy of former female wrestler and current TV personality of Hokuto Akira or her husband who is also a fame wrestler.

The one in the middle is Tejima Yu. A well known gravure idol that tends to do do sexy shots with her selling point being her "I" cups. Fairly popular in variety past year or so with her ero and slight narcissistic character.

Should be interesting, especially between Mocchi and that female wrestler.

Yeah I really like this show, especially that this show so far is showcasing more girls than even AKBingo it. They even have members doing the narrating that is usually handled by staff or VA.

 

Episode 2 was awkward. Seriously, they could have asked the guy if he already had gf, couldn't they?

this episode no yuko, is this mean they shooting in different day?

 

True but the point in that episode is to let the girl to have the courage to confess, I wouldn't doubt that staff know about it.

Could also just be that Yuko left early for other job.

But this episode is fun, I was kind of surprise that AKB would tackle this head on. There are many other variety show already pointed this out that AKB is taking away a lot of jobs for gravure idols and the traditional non-singing idols because they are usually cheaper and come in packs.

I love when Lemon was happy AKB to dominate the magazine covers only to get scolded by Terry that didn't she get it, AKB is the source of their blue...

BTW, the part with Ricchan's ero-pose was great. She was incredibly cute there...

at Terry trying to get Miichan and Yuko to say an inappropriate word and their indirect way of answering

Manaya = Older brother 14
Ruka = Sister 12
They both get along with each other really well
They still take baths together

Members asks if Ruka doesn't feel embarassed to take a bath together with Manaya.
She says not at all as they've been taking baths together ever since they were small.
Miichan: Because you've been taking baths together since you were small and your body matures...
Terry: Body maturing, what did you mean by that?
Miichan: When a boy starts to become a man...
Terry: And? What do you mean by that?
Miichan: Terry!!
Terry: Yuko, explain
Yuko: When it pops out it's out, the same goes for females too
Terry: Manaya, I think it's already popping out?
Manaya: It's completely out there.

 

are there any subs for this lovely show?

 

Not that I know of. Most of the groups that were subbing AKS shows kinda took a break before Kousagi started and most of them haven't started subbing again. Aidol is subbing AKBingo but I think that's the only group that has resumed activities.
