I like her with out her fangs, being 18 and still having two baby teeth is kind of weird.

I was really rooting for Ayaka during the Lucky Seven audition and I remember being upset when she didn't get to the finals. Although, I was happy in the end when no one got in to Morning Musume through that audition. No Ayaka, no win~!

I was so happy when I found out she was in AKB48. That's when I started distancing myself from Hello! Pro. xD

I still puzzled by Tsunku's dessicion, and now I think he's too old to judge someone for Morning Musume anymore.

 

Personally, I think that Tsunku's decisions aren't based on talent anymore. I'm pretty sure he knew what he was doing with the first, second and third generations, but after that, I think he attempted to "Lolify" the group. And since then, he hasn't really made choices based on vocal talent-- It seems to be more based on looks than anything else. But hey, what're you gonna do?

Well, to be more on topic, I didn't really want believe it when everyone in here was talking about Ayaka's fangs being gone but judging from the pictures on the wiki, they are... I don't really know what to say other than that she doesn't look like the same old Ayaka. I just hope that after this, she doesn't plan on getting double eyelid surgery and getting breast implants.

and I think the reason of her operation isn't only for the looks, I had double teeth once and it was hurts.

 

I think it's probably more because Tsunku probably knows exactly what kind of person he'd looking for when holding these auditions. His selections seem to be about targeting specific voids or gaps in a potential target audience. Koharu herself is an excellent example of this, and obviously so are JunJun/LinLin.

Tsunku pretty much lives on the idea members or even entire units follow a kind of theme that allows them to target X demographic. That's why all H!P units seem to have a specific underlying theme, and hell, THE Possible is as good an example of this as you can get.

I love H!P, but I think this is one of the big idological differences between H!P (or rather, Tsunku's stuff in general) and AKB48 - AKB48 almost try to go for the opposite approach.

i don't really see the comparison, tonight Koharu was on the ameba live show with some of the other MM girls, and her personality....i am not sure how close it is to Umeda, but then again i haven't seen a whole lot of Ayaka, but they look so different.
