I agree with you that with computer aided Design tools available today the job is fascinating and well worth the effort so do your best.

    ah..the outsourcing.
Maybe you can apply for a job somewhere in china, that way you are one step closer to japan, thus to AKB48 members...

anyway, i'm also an engineering student. and use CAD Software Solidworks a lot.

Oh man, if Ms. Yuko did cheer for engineering, I just might want to work a little harder at it lol.

But yeah, automation sounds groovy. Do you have to take a lot of math and MATLAB courses?

I probably could not last a single lecture of that class, without falling asleep and my attention span would probably be lost after 60 seconds of that lecture. :x

It depends really on the flow of the class. Some classes I do my best to pay as much attention as possible, while for other classes my mind wanders and I end up either studying kanji flashcards or drawing in my notebook. And then there are instances where I actually fall asleep, but those are really rare for me.

I'm still a student in college, but during summer and winter holidays, I work at a place called Unimin, where I work in the shipping and Loading department; that pretty much means we load and unload transport trucks with the material we make at the plant. The job pays pretty damn well too, so its a pretty sweet gig.
