Ayaka was pushed pretty hard early on (AKB senbatsu, NMB B-sides (W centers with Sayanee)) and Cocona's pushed more recently albeit pretty hard too, I'd say they're more equal now but it's true that Cocona's HS sells better than Ayaka recently

omg no way...she totally was gonna be the new star of NMB (minus like Miru, but idk how long Miru wants to stay either tbh). I really liked Ayaka as an idol too. Such a shame to lose not only Akarin, but now Ayaka from NMB's roster. Also, a retirement is so extreme imo. But I respect her decision overall.
