I followed her during the 2nd draft, she was so funny and interactive. Sadly no one picked her back then.


So when I saw her again, with her frog, during the showrooms I was so glad.
Her character hadn't changed a thing either.


Very much look forward to seeing her now actually be in the group.

Quick question: why is her nickname zunchan? She always said yokkuchan in showroom.

I was rewatching the shonichi for screenshots, and after having seen a few of her showrooms this week… it has to be said, there's a lot of potential in 16ki, but compared to all of them Zunchan is a locomotive. She arrived meaning business from day 1 and she's all out of bubblegum. Even the other girls are commenting on their own showrooms how there are a lot of her fans at performances.

It will surprise me not at all if she ranks this year.

 

Has anyone seen a transcription of Zunko's version of Koike? Or can hear it enough to transcribe?

According to the lyrics project, the spoken parts are different between Team A (Mariko-sama), shuffle (Masuda Yuka originally), and Team N (Nana). Listening to the LOD, the RS16 version (I guess that's what we're calling it?) is a mix of A and N, with some new bits thrown in; basically A but more informal and with extra Kansai-ben. But the ben is not the same as Nana's, probably Hyogo style, and since I know nothing about that, I can't really make it out.

Second half of first stanza, for example:
Mariko: iya demo, genjitsu tte yatsu ga miete kimasu.
Nana: iya ya nen kedo genjitsu miete kita wa.
Zunchan: iya [ya? ee?] nen kedo, genjitsu [chi???] yatsu ga miete [ku?] ne.

edit: am I the only one here? no way the Next Gen Master Fisher only has one fan in the forums…

I really like Zunchan. She's really good and right now I think one of the best performer out of the 16th gen. I think she'll go far. And she's super cute !

Zunchan is my favorite from the 16th generation, loved her since they were with the SHOWROOM campaign! And while currently I've been less invested in AKB than before, she might be one of the reasons I keep checking around, besides a couple more members.

 

Yeah, even the other members seem to think so one of these days Maeda and Manaka did a showroom together and at some point they were talking about fans and they said “there's a lot of Zunchan fans” (Zunchan no fan ga ooi ne)

 

ForrestFuller, I really appreciate links to the archived showrooms, but Zunchan streams every day, most days twice if you post all of them, this thread will be nothing but that. Maybe post a digest once or twice a week with all the links?

 

Zunchan is one of my favorites out of 16ki, along with Sato Minami (I call them twin tail sisters haha).
I must admit that I grow to like Zunchan more and more, tho. She's so cute and beautiful and she can actually sing and dance. Plus she's funny and kind of the chosen one (fan wise) when you look at HS results. I really hope she will get much out of this. Aki-P, please make her a center *-*
