Yokoyama Yui (Yokochan) / Team 8

I'm a little late, but I watched Yokoyui's graduation stage! I'm really sad that she had to graduate because she is one of the members who stood out the most for me this year, since AKB only released one single in 2021 and I thought that Yokoyui did the best in Ne mo Ha mo Rumor. So I'm very sad that she left ;_; and I wanted to see her final stage even if I'm late ^^;

First, I want to say that I love the whole setlist of the stage! I liked all of the songs My favorite part is when Yokoyui first wear her dress and performed 3 solo songs, Mushi no Ballad + Magirashiteiru + Tsuki to Mizukagami. I love these songs so much, she made great choices *-* and she performed them really well. it was so unexpected to hear Magirashiteiru, it's one of my favorite Mayuyu songs it's so different than what Mayuyu usually did, while for Yokoyui, it suits her perfectly haha. and when they performed Aozora no Soba ni Ite, it was touching ;_; and I loved the moment between Yokoyui and Satopii when they looked at each other and cried and laughed, it was cute and sweet! I actually didn't expect Satopii to be here at Yokoyui's graduation stage, it's nice! I also love that Ikumin and Hijirin appeared as special guests, the performance of Ne mo Ha mo Rumor was great *-* The last part when each Team 8 member made a video message was so nice, and Yokoyui's final speech ;_; I don't know if anyone noticed it but when she cried, you can hear someone else crying, it was a male voice, I guess it's one of the fans in the audience? it was touching and then the final song being 10nen Zakura, it's nice to end with a cheerful song!

Overall it was a very nice graduation stage and a nice goodbye to Yokoyui, she is a great dancer and singer, I'm glad she got in senbatsu before her graduation. I wish her all the best!

Yeah Haruppi posted on her fanpage that she had dinner with Yokoyui. Not sure how or when they became friendly, maybe Haruppi was looking for dating advice

Yeah,well. Screw me being late to the party. Screw Yui getting kicked out of AKB literally weeks before I found her. That's sad.

That's literally the hottest girl I ever seen. She just stole the award from Ai Kago. It's not just the "looks", it's the attitude, it's the mannerism, it's the art in motion. I dunno if you care, but I'll be a fan for life.

 

What makes you think she got kicked out?
