I just hope she doesn't go the same road Kawamura Mahiro did, talented but wasted due to a dating scandal. Well they have lost Yahagi Moeka, losing Yokochan might set them back a bit esp. Team K.

It's like this. When something like this case happens you will often see fans supporting the member, saying "we don't care, keep working". But there's always a huge group of people that won't be able to forgive or that, at least, will always remember when looking at her face. Therefore, it's never going be the same again. It worked with someone like Sashiko because she had a huge huge fanbase and many of them didn't care at all (some even liked it). Now, is the fanbase that stayed with Yoko and forgives her big enough to justify her staying? We'll see. What I really don't want to happen is to keep a Yoko that will eventually turn into a... less important character that brings nothing to the team at a time when we could be getting a new loli being pushed with the new lolis. If Yoko can recover from this like nothing happened... great.

You really need to see Team 4 more often.

I'm not sure she'd join a SR event now as she did for Cebu. Then again, Yoko has always been rather reserved when it came to popularity contests so not that big change if she focuses mostly on just doing her own thing.

In my unbiased opinion, I think she'll be fine. The love ban has lost its impact since the Minegishi Shaving incident. The actual photo in question was clearly from some years back, back when Team 8 was young and members weren't really popular at all. She's grown tremendously in terms of overall ability, management favor and fanbase over the last few years that she can beat something like this. She was clearly becoming a a Team 8 pillar and Team 8 is what's realistically keeping the current core AKB afloat aside from a few non Team 8 powerhouses. She's widely considered the best dancer in 48G history, is good enough reach the finals in the 48G singing events, has variety ability, MC ability, capability of winning showroom events and a has body to die for. They even gave her her own Team 8 song and had her center Music Station. She's in no way group center material and may probably never make a group single senbatsu yet she's still a bit to valuable and marketable to be left on the sidelines.

Besides, with recent trends regarding scandals in 48G, they tend to get still get pushed the same or in some cases they get pushed even more. Nakai Rika was basically undisturbed by her scandal and Yahagi Moeka got pushed to an extreme level, they even made her center. She legitimately didnt need to graduate, she was probably just done with the idol world and the jeers she was getting from bitter fans who can't just move on. Suto Ririka announced she was getting married in the middle of her sousenkyo speech and they let her stay on for like 2 more months until she graduated by choice

Is it just my impression or Yokochan has made plastic surgery and corrected shape of her eyes? I think, that she has changed so much during this break and looks so much better
