It seems the new episode just released, though I can't seem to find a stream available for now.

 

The fifth round of auditions has already started for Yoshimotozaka 46 and on their official website page they have posted dance routines for each member covering the same dance. From watching all of the dance videos in their evaluation I am quite impressed with what I saw. I enjoyed watching it and there are mistakes in their performance as individuals being slow to react to fast movements and such but beyond that the direction of what Yoshimotozaka 46 is heading towards is quite good. I will enjoy it for what it currently is but only time can tell what it will be once they actually debut.

 

Final members announcement along with press conference will be held in August 20.

The people who take number 2 are the worst dancer so far on both teams IMO. So unlucky for them to take the front row.

In the end we got to see relatively "Good Looking" guys here... Where did those Grandpas go ?

I consider Keyaki a more successful project than SKE though

 

Yes, I agree. SKE don't even bother to have contrast with AKB, so it's just like copying the concept of their senior, plus they debuted when their senior was not popular yet.

While Keya, while they debuted on Nogi's peak, they also came with a real contrast with Nogi.

 

SKE debuted when AKB was in edge of destruction if I'm not mistaken. It's not fair to compare it to Keyaki.

 

IMO, they did bring a few differences in terms of general image (upbeat, dance-y music and sweaty choreography are usually what comes to my mind when thinking of SKE). However, unlike AKB or Keyaki, they don't really have a stand-out, iconic, memorable hit song such as Heavy Rotation, Aitakatta or Silent Majority, Fukyouwaon. The biggest SKE song is probably Oki Doki. I'd like to comment but am not sure if it's right or wrong

Was the year when AKB was about to tumble down? Was it Jurina who saved them with Oogoe Diamond?

 

Idk if it was REALLY the case. Just remember that Oogoe was first single they released physically after what you said "AKB was about to tumble down". I'm referring to 10 year documentary but I wasn't fan back then so I don't really know the truth.
