Let me do a conclusion for all suggestions given at previous page:

1. Users gained access to the depot and only dropped by to download stuff.

2. Every single individual girls thread needs the first post to be updated as they are all severely outdated.

3. HIDE function in the depot.

4. Karma system in the depot.

5. Updates at the first post for all new releases (included of singles, PBs, DVDs, concerts and similar to those) thread.

Solutions Answers:

1. Mods will discuss about this.

2. This work is under my section. I'm still working on it but it will take lotsssssss (I mean it) of time. I will try to make it at most before new year. If anyone want to lend their hand (especially the involvement-in-stages part), drop me a PM(s), I'll appreciate it so much!

3. This involves admin's work. Kyobu and kaito are quite busy these days (university life). I hope they will come drop by soon.

^I too agree with the concept of updating the first posts of the News and Releases threads, and I'll try to get to work on that as soon as I can. I know that for a couple of the concerts (NHK09 for instance) I've done something similar, but I'm pretty sure that even then, the set list that I was able to find wasn't totally complete or included random information.

A special hint I've found for easy access until we/I search for information in the threads is to make a Notepad document and use it to list this sort of random information. (My current one houses the set lists to all six Budokan tour concerts, the new Team member lists, that one random concert a little while ago, the Musical Infinity cast list, the SKE48 concert DVD set list, two different recent Mixi ratings of AKB, G-Rosso member lists, and RS information.)

But yeah, I'll try to get to that. If anyone that isn't a mod has some extra time, if you could just find the information that might be needed in the first post and quote it into a new post saying that it should be posted in the first post, and someone who can edit the first post will do so.

Ah ok, so it's a bit different from what I thought it was.
While it's good for the uploader, people who know how the system works will still be able to beat it. It's easy to make a few posts every once in a while that are more than just thank you posts but still don't have much value. And who's gonna judge whether that person did it on purpose or not?

It'd have to be the mods or someone the mods contacted privately to help that they could trust, and they would have to follow some set of standards. I can't imagine this thing being too strict or too serious because that would involve too much work, but it would help at least get some people more active if they want to download stuff. Of course, posts like "so and so girl is so prettty!" with nothing else in the post are counted just as "thank you" posts too.

Just a heads up, phpBB 3.06 is out. It contains some interesting features like some support for ATOM feeds and a barebones quick-reply mod.

just a suggestion: why not rename this thread to include all "graduated" or "filtered" research students. we should be expecting a lot more in the future. it should be easier to discuss about those who didn't make it in the internal kenkyuusei auditions if we have one place.

I have a suggestion for usergroups. Why don't we have usergroups for Team A, K & B, Also for SKE and SND?

^Could you be more specific on that? Like what would the difference be?

Mainly for personal preference, like who's the member's favourite team. For example, Team A could be red. Team K, green and B blue. And so on for SND & SKE.

^^ It's like how it is at JPM. There's several different groups for your favorite artists, but that's about it. No one ever does anything with them or whatever. ^^;

I don't know what the point of grouping would be if you're not going to do anything special with it.

You could do something simpler instead like custom profile fields, so people can list stuff like their Favorite Member, Favorite Team, etc... and have it show up below their avatar whenever they post. The feature should already be built into the board, so all you need's an admin to make up the fields.

I realize Kyobu's stepping down so technical changes will probably take a while. I'm actually waiting to see if the forum can be re-indexed so we can search through older posts. It's somewhat of a hassle having to skim though dozens of old pages on a topic to find something.

^ It's just a fun thing to have. No real point with it. I do like the idea of the 'Favorite Member' thing.

I'm also suggesting a 'Thank you' type thing where you press a button to thank the person's post, like they have at JPH!P. There's a bunch of posts I want to thank, but don't want to spam the place with thank yous. =P I know it probably won't happen anytime soon with Kyobu stepping down and all, but just putting it out there. ;D

There is something wrong with the login. I always click login me automatically but it always prompt me to login again when I clicked galleries or when I returned sometime later.
