[MUSICAL/DVD] AKB Kagekidan [∞・Infinity] 09/10/30-11/8

Some infos about AKB musical Infinity have been announced today.
The main cast will be Sayaka&Takamina pair and Sae&Yukirin (double cast, so either one of the two pairs will perfom) together with 10 other AKB members who are to be announced later.
Musical will be based on AKB's songs from their 100+ catalog.
They will perform 14 stages at G-rosso from 30th October to 8th November.
Price for tickets is 5500yen.
Date of ticket sale is yet to be announced but it should be soon.....

Maybe she's busy during that time with other projects...

Totally have to agree...Yuka is one if not the best singer in AKB and if she doesnt get a decent role then something is wrong....
Well anyway i will be getting tickets as soon as they go on sale....

That's what dreamboys is mostly about.
I haven't watch this year's but from what I watched previously, the main focus is on the action and naked boys.
AKB's seems to put the focus on the storyline and songs.

So, does that mean that this group will be 24 or 14 members total? Like, is it just one cast for everyone else? If so, I'll bet that everyone else is unpopular and that's why they'll be available to do the musical.

I expect lots of live singing and if it comes anything close to Ribon no Kishi, quality wise, I would so watch this

Lets keep this expectation. AKB has many songs. They can surely pick any of them to fit the musical. But hopefully, they're not using their stage costumes.

I recommend 2006's KAT-TUN VS Kanjani one.
That was the best.

i agree with you rui as the 2006 dreamboys is the best as i love one of their songs called fighting dance where kame and subaru and the rest of the kat-tun and k8 do the dance-offs

btw...the first dreamboys starred tackey is also good...

Not really.
Even for Morning Musume, their concerts are around 6800yen and a S ticket for the musical is normally 12000yen.
Most idol musicals I know are normally 12000yen and cost considerably more than a concert.

I have a hunch the upcoming single will be tied to this musical? It could be a good way to promote the musical or something. the title 'infinity' sounds great for a single's title as well. on the other hand i hope the musical cast is not the same as the senbatsu members. Since acchan is not selected as one of the 4 main character, she'll probably focus on the single?

Romance Irane, thats an... "act" that could be good to see too. As Sakura No Hanabiratashi. Maybe that will be the last one in the musical.

Keibetsu and Seifuku will be very difficult acts, I wonder how they will adapt that songs, if they include them of course
