Man, this girl is good. I'm blown away by her performance of "Romance kakurenbo" (part of the "Minogashita kimitachi he" concert series). It's sung live, too. Such a fitting voice for this song.

I'm here to pledge my allegiance to Karen . She's my favorite kenkyuusei now. This is what I said about her after I watched a team 4 LOD two days ago

Iwata Karen: Absolutely amazing. I've always looked at her as this vocally talented kid who could sing ballads but she is so much more than that. Her vocals are easily one of best in the whole of AKB and she moves pretty good too, way better than I expected. She was great in 'Himawari', she looked really confident on stage, nailed the vocals as expected. I was a bit anxious to see how she would fare in 'Lay Down' but she looked amazing and kickass there too. She is so young though and she actually looks like a 13 year old for a change but those cheeks are adorable. And there's more! She was really amazing/funny in the mc's too .Yeah my favorite KKS I guess. Would for me be a definite pick for team 4.

She might be a bit too young to promote now but I think she can do it. She has subbed for Yukirin, Tomochin, Kasai and those are not small boots to fill. And as far as I've seen she has done a very good job in it too. I just really hope she ends up in team 4 cause she's one of the few KKS who would really make that team stronger.
