Well i've entered a singing contest here
I sent my application im waiting to see if i got an audition

If i get lucky maybe i'll be on TV

but the audition process is long.
first is an audition for tv show producers
so is the second audition call backs
then the third is for the TV judges

Haha. Normally those people on our age take singing as a hobby only. When free that time we'll just go to Karaoke place to sing out heart out =P

Its a program called the X factor
its pretty big over here.

Even if i dont win (which i doubt i will)
i atleast want some screen time LOL

That's "Britains got talent"
but it works in a similar way
If you get 3 out of 4 yes's from the judges, you go through to a "vocal boot camp"
but only something like 100 people get that far. I have to think of something to get me noticed *schemes*

I'll be happy if i get past the producers lol

Unless your doctor has told you, "you're tone deaf" you should be able to sing with some direction. Have you thought about taking lessons, if you arent confident? Although i've been singing from an early age, i was never confident about my singing, so going and learning good techniques might be an idea if you're serious about it.

I had training in Musicals, so my ACTUAL singing voice is a hell of a lot stronger than how my jpop voice comes across. Jpop for me, is a lot more difficult to sing.

I would love to enter some kind of audition...but I'd prefer to be a singer in Japan. XD I can picture myself being a singer there, but I really can't picture myself being a singer here...unless maybe I could do something TOTALLY different from what anyone here is doing. But I'd rather sing in Japanese, too. Sigh.

Well, I have a new master plan for getting Akimoto to love me, and the least a girl can do is try! XD (Note: My master plans sound cracked out, but they make sense to me. Plus, the man's an otaku. I can figure out how to win him over! I BELIEVE IN MYSELF!)

I also didnt want to envision myself as a singer here
because of wanting to be more like the Jpop Market.
However, i'm willing to audition over here as a starting point.
It can't hurt to get your face around right? And with a competition like this, even the runners up get signed in many cases.

And if you're like me (as i think you are), you'll understand the desperation of doing anything to get your dream.

We should collab sometime I'd love to sing some karaoke with you.
