A concurrent position (or 兼任 - Kennin) is a position where a member of one of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48 or SNH48 hold two member positions in two different groups and two different teams.

The concurrent position format was first introduced at the Saitama Super Arena Concert.
