  • 27 - Auditions start for what is then known as "Toriizaka46" (鳥居坂46).

  • 21 - Final examinations end and 22 people are officially unveiled as the 1st Generation. The group's name is changed from "Toriizaka46" to "Keyakizaka46".

  • 11 - Harada Mayu leaves the group without any send-off activities.
  • 14 - The group's first event, a "Choose your most noticeable member" introduction meet, is held at Tokyo Zepp DriverCity.
  • 30 - Hiragana Keyaki is unveiled during an episode of Keyakitte, Kakenai?, and along with it Nagahama Neru as its first member.
