History

Early Life

  • Started as a trainee for Kiroy Company.

2014

  • On July 18th, debuted under the stage name Kazoo with the Korean idol group Ye-A and the song "National Treasure."

2015

  • In November, her company Kiroy Company was bought and re-named to Shinhoo Company. After this, there were no more updates on the group and they disbanded without an announcement.

2016

  • Started as a trainee for Woollim Entertainment.
  • Was featured in Dongwoo from Infinite’s “Embedded in Mind” solo live performance in Infinite That Summer 3.

2018

  • In June, made her first appearance as a contestant on the Korean idol survival show Produce 48.
  • On August 31st, came in seventh place on the final episode of Produce 48 with a total of 250,212 votes. This meant she would debut with IZONE.
    • Her official color is purple.
  • On October 29th, officially debuted with IZONE and the mini-album COLOR*IZ.
  • On December 15th, appeared on "Amazing Saturday" alongside Ahn Yujin.

2019

2021

  • In January and February, was one of the 5 IZONE members chosen for an endorsement between Pepsi and STARSHIP Entertainment.
  • On March 26th and April 2nd, appeared as a guest panelist on I Can See Your Voice alongside Choi Yena.
  • On March 29th, appeared in Kim Sung Kyu's music video for HUSH.
  • On April 29th, IZONE officially disbanded.
  • Released on August 4th, was listed as one of the composers for Rocket Punch's song "Let's Dance" on their Japanese debut single, Bubble Up!.
  • On July 19th, started her own account on the K-Pop app UNIVERSE and announced she was preparing for a solo album.
  • On August 24th, released her first solo mini album, "OPEN".

2022

  • From January 2nd to March 6th, appeared as the character Muneo (무너) on the virtual survival show Girls Re:Verse. She ranked 1st place.
  • On January 18th, released the music video for I'll be your Energy, for the OST of "Epic Seven", alongside Takahashi Juri.
  • On February 3rd, released her first digital single album, Bimil:ier Vol.4 "Mirror".
  • On February 23rd, released the music video for TIME for the OST of "Rookie Cops."
  • On March 10th, released her second digital single album, Esper.
  • On April 4th, released her second solo mini album, "Color".
  • From May 4th, appeared on "Cheating Trip" Season 2 alongside Jo Yuri and Kang Hyewon.
  • On June 18th and 19th, held her first solo concert "Secret Doors".
    • This made her the first ex-IZ*ONE member to hold a solo concert.
  • From August 10th, appeared in Superfinger Season 2 alongside Lee Chaeyeon.
  • On August 17th, released the promotional single "Light" for the KPOP CTzen OST.
  • From September 20th, appeared on "Cheating Trip" Season 3 alongside Lee Chaeyeon and Honda Hitomi (with a guest appearance of Kang Hyewon).
  • On August 12th, released her third mini album "Lethality."
  • On December 17th and 18th, held her second solo concert "Next Doors."

2023

  • On August 2nd, released her first single album / fourth overall release "The Flash."
  • On October 7th and 8th, held her third solo concert "QUEEN".
  • On October 24th, released the digital single "Like Heaven (Feat. Paul Blanco)."
  • On December 10th, released the digital single "Can We Go Back To The Good Old Days" (그때 우리로 돌아갈 수 있을까요).
  • On December 14th, won the Best Musician Award at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards. The announcer who presented her with the award happened to be former IZ*ONE member Jang Wonyoung.
