  • She was born in Osaka, then moved to Kanagawa when she was 3 years old. The AKB48 official site gives her birthplace as Kanagawa prefecture.
  • She was given the name "Nana" because she was born on November 7th. Nana means "seven" in Japanese.
  • She has two older brothers and a younger sister.
    • On AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san she shared that her first kiss was with her older brother. She was 5 years old at the time, and she kissed him during a car ride while he was asleep.
    • Her younger sister, Rina, appeared with Nana at the 2016 Janken Tournament doing a cosplay from the anime Re:Zero. Rina also occasionally shows up in Nana's SHOWROOM streams.
  • She was inspired to join AKB48 after she saw Itano Tomomi in a fashion show on television and found her cute. She became a fan the group, collected merchandise, and even went to handshake events to meet Watanabe Mayu.
  • She failed AKB48's 13th Generation auditions.
  • She is known for her serious (majime) personality, especially during variety shows and theater performances. Theater manager Yuasa Hiroshi called Nana "a perfectionist and stoic hard worker. She takes what she is given and returns it at 120%".
    • She developed a code of conduct for the AKB48 Kenkyuusei while she was one.
    • She called Minegishi Minami Mii-san, instead of Mii-chan like other members did, since Minegishi was her senior.
  • She is very athletic. She loves sports, especially soccer.
  • She formed the "Agoshimai" ("Chin Sisters") duo with Nishino Miki because of their sharp chins.
  • She was one of the "Three Musketeers" with Kojima Mako and Nishino Miki. The name was given to them in 2013 as hopeful stars for the future of AKB48.
  • She runs a YouTube channel with Murayama Yuiri, Mogi Shinobu, and Mukaichi Mion called "YuuNaMogiOn Channel".
    • She would like to have a concert with YuuNaaMogiOn someday.
  • In December 2021, AKB48 members voted Nana as the best singer among all members of all 48 groups, as well as the strictest member of all 48 groups.
  • In her former official STU48 profile she wrote that her rule is to never give up, and to not add soy sauce to sushi.
  • She often dyes her hair. She is one of the few 48 Group members to have a hair color that wasn't a shade of blonde, brown, or black. However, in November 2022 she decided she to dye it back to black after turning 25 to allow the hair to heal.
  • In August 2021 she appeared as a guest at the JF Oberlin University 100 Cherry Blossoms Festival, modeling a kimono for their kimono fashion show.
  • She was diagnosed with coronavirus in late July 2022. She was on hiatus for one week, and watched all 8 seasons of Game of Thrones during that time.
  • She wrote the lyrics for BNK48's 12th single, Believers.
  • She loves Iwashita's pickled young ginger products so much that she says she wants to be the mascot of the brand.

  • Her lightstick color was green.
  • She enjoys yuri manga.
  • She is bisexual.
    • In 2023 she confirmed she dated a woman in 2017, during her time as an AKB48 member.
  • In early 2023, she shared that she suffered from bulimia and binge eating disorders, which began during her time as a AKB48 member. It became so severe that she had to take hiatus from May to June 2016. After moving out of her family home and into her own apartment, she found it easier to moderate her eating habits and was able to start recovering.
  • In late 2023, she gave a 7-page interview with Asahi where she came out as non-binary and also spoke about her issues with drug and alcohol abuse.
    • She confirmed that she suffered from a panic disorder since early 2022, and began taking antidepressants at that time. After a media scandal in November 2022 in which she was photographed with a man, she received public backlash. She fell into depression, lost significant weight, and began using drugs and alcohol.
    • In December 2022, she suffered a serous injury when she fell from the second floor of her apartment complex. She was on hiatus from December 17, 2022 until the end of the year.
