Team Surprise (チーム サプライズ) is an AKB48 one-shot unit, created for a Pachinko campaign. The unit also has members from SKE48, NMB48 and HKT48. As of 2015, the special team has released two original stages both physically and digitally.

  • Team Surprise singles for 2013 were all recorded before Maeda Atsuko graduated which is why she is still included. At the launch event for this new pachi-slot game, held on the 28th May at the Makuhari Messe, Watanabe Mayu substituted for her, and Watanabe Mayu was substituted by Kawaei Rina.
  • Team Surprise singles for 2014 were all recorded early 2013, before Shinoda Mariko, Itano Tomomi & Oshima Yuko graduated which is why they are still included.
  • Team Surprise singles for 2015 were all recorded early 2013, before Shinoda Mariko, Itano Tomomi, Oshima Yuko & Matsui Rena graduated which is why they are still included.
  • Team Surprise singles for 2017 were only released as 45 second clips on YouTube and were recorded in 2015, which is why many members had graduated by the time they were published.
