Early Life
- Usami was born on Saitama prefecture, but raised on Chiba prefecture.
- She did some gravure idol work.
2005
- She joined AKB48 on October 30th as a member of the first Generation, also known as the Original Team A.
- On December 8th she was part of the Grand Theatre Opening in Akihabara, Tokyo during AKB48's first stage performance; this marks the day of the AKB48 Anniversary now.
2006
- AKB48's first single Sakura no Hanabiratachi was released on February 1st. It was chosen by fans as the first single, as it was their favorite song from Team A's first stage Party ga Hajimaru yo. As a part of Team A, Usami was chosen as a participating member.
- On March 31st, she graduated from AKB48, becoming the first AKB48 member to graduate.
Between 2006 and 2012
