Of course I agree completely that it would matter for equally well selling members!

Amina is always a great example because lot of people use it as an example of a member getting unfair treatment. She ranked 8th in the first election but was never considered for any non-election senbatsu. So she might have had a more devoted fanbase at the time but management still preferred members who were selling better at HS events and members who they believed would be better in attracting new fans.

Interesting discussion though.

 

I also find that it can be a point of pride to support your oshi and push them inspite of the management's push (or lack of). Getting her in the single is sometimes a reward in itself (Being an Amina fan, that's probably the few things I can be proud about...)

 

You think Aramaki Misaki won't be a senbatsu member? She's obviously being pushed. She has already 2 teams H performances and was the Zenza Girl on the Shonichi...

Although it's kinda pointless but collected the view counts of their Sousenkyo appeal videos (count after 9h since their posting)

Mirun again is the only 3rd gen who's somewhat able to keep up with NakoMiku. The view counts mostly reflect the G+ follower count ranking and also their overall popularity. (Sure there are several exceptions)

Just for fun. Gonna be interesting to see how it progresses after a week or s/th.

Just some comments in general about the transfer members. Everyone doing so well on the concurrences and transfers. Boss's tongue getting even sharper in Nagoya Tani fitting in so well too. I'm really enjoying sakura and chyori in akihabara. Murashige chara seems to be the same, but it is Haruppi who seems happiest back in the Hakata theater.

 

The SHARP smartphone campaign is based around their slogan of "See more" (maybe they have a top camera in their phone idk). Anyway this is also the gimmick in this.

The members (I think all of them) post video's on the site. These video's will have a thick black border inside them so you can only see a part of it. You can vote or something to make the border smaller. I don't know the details of this, so it could be that it's small, not on all video's, gets removed after a while anyway, ect.

The campaign will start on the 26th May and will run for 5 weeks, each week will have a theme:

1. 26th May：Showing off your special skill
2. 2nd June：Showing off your fashion sense
3. 9th June：Is it an Angel? Is it a Devil? Both are "Nakomiku transformation!" (I have no idea lol)
4. 16th June：Oshi-parts (like this SKE magazine feature I'm thinking).
5. 23rd June：Are you looking at her back? In closer contact with "Sashihara Rino". (Once again I have no idea lol)

Looking at the application rates for the H and KIV shows this month

H 5/9 = 7.77
KIV 5/15 = 6.91
H 5/16 = 9.16
H 5/19 = 6.35
KIV 5/20 = 7.00
KIV 5/21 = 9.35

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't those just what they predicted the rates to be?

yup, those are the forecasted numbers of applications.these are the forecasted with actual numbers.

H 5/9 = 7.77/12.07
KIV 5/15 = 6.91/12.59

H is in 7th position now and KIV in 8th position overall.

7.61 application for each ticket for the show.which means the expected number of applications in total for yesterday's show was 300*7.61=2,283. But the actual application numbers was 300*12.59=3,777.
