About £35 each! Expensive, but so very much worth it, you can even see every detail of Yuko's dimples :p

Are they region free or do they only play for specific regions like DVD's?

Blu-Ray discs do have region codes, but they are different from DVD regions. You can check that out here.

HD-DVD has no regions codes at the moment, is cheaper to get into, and best of all, isn't forced upon you by Sony. I hope it wins, even though it's had some trouble lately.

Anyway, are the concerts a full 1080P?

I don't think it states a region on the box, but I'd assume it's Region A, which is basically Japan and USA. If you have a Japanese or American PS3, your in luck. UK PS3's are a no-go - this is a big reason I imported a US PS3 - You can use Japanese Blu-Rays, and get your fix of western stuff from America too.

Unfortunately, they are 1080i 59.94Hz Mpeg2. Thankfully they still look stunning, but in todays world of 1080p AVC, it's a bit embarrassing. They are also proper 1920x1080i, not some dodgy 1440x1080 cop-out.
On the positive side, the sound is lossless LPCM 96KHz 24-bit.

It's so typical of Japanese releases though, it's the same with Japanese DVD's - always stunning sound, with the video trailing behind.

Bah. Mai's photo from the latest BLT set is absolutely mind-blowing, but I just can't justify spending the amount it's going for on a single photo.

I could teach you a few things about some very attractive life insurance policies made directly payable to me if you have some time to listen :)

I would, but I fail to see how that helps me with my Mayu problem :p I am, however, willing to take out hits if that's what I have to resort to...
