TV / Radio Majisuka Gakuen 5 (2015/08/24 - 2015/10/27)

Not going to spoiler since this can be seen from the 90 second preview but as someone pointed out, from the row of girls walking away at the end, missing are salt, bakamono, kobi, antonio, magik, yoga and minami. We'll see if this holds true.

Still thinking there's some secret help from one of the yakuza to orchestrate all this. Otherwise, the previews sure don't match.

I guess the story, acting, fight scenes, production are all higher value. Just missing is the element of it being fun. But after several seasons, maybe they needed to try something else. This is more like a much better 3 though, with the 1-2-4 setting.

 

Is that factory/plant setting the place where they filmed the biker girl parts of the Gingham Check PV?

from the episode 4 preview, it looks like Yoga/Magic will die.
and i think center/haruppi will appear to replace them as new queens

 

I didn't really watch it because I am waiting for the subbed version but I skimmed the first episode a bit honestly the cinematic aspect really improved. It always seemed like a low budget show (which it was) but now visually it looks like it is a movie.

They're just playing with some Yabakune girls. Not every character that shows up in the preview dies... right?

But it is a popular prediction Rappapa will reorganize, with Center and Katsuzetsu filling in the empty slots. I think a few ppl here guessed that would happen before the show even started.
But yeah, with this show anything is possible!

That prediction might be right, you can watch the trailer and skim through the end and see who is there in the row or see image below in spoiler tag. But its just a prediction, who knows. Can't wait for the rest of the episodes, enjoying it so far.

I don't know why, but I got a feeling that the "bad cop" may win in the end... Or at least comes very close to winning it.

But if the season is set up to make the girls lose, the bad cop will likely win this Game of Thron... I mean, Majisuka.

 

My poor, poor heart couldn't handle this

It's heartbreaking to see Kobii planning something again to 'own' Antonio like what she did to Salt, this time her luck runs out.

Here's my quick thought about episode 1-2:

• Head is badass af
• The quality of the series improved a lot! This might be my fav MG series
• The moment i saw Bakamono as chinpira i know she's really going to die
• Lol at Salt dying in the first ep. That's unexpected
• ED is hauntingly beautiful
• Wtf Yuko lives?
• Since when Nana got included in Hinabe and KamiZombie's circle?

My prediction for the story:

• My feeling told me that Salt's killer is Bakamono, somehow. Or Yabakune's Head.
• Antonio probably going to die protecting Sakura.
• Center went back to MG to exact revenge for Salt as a MG student? Wish we could see more Nezumi
• I don't think Magic and Yoga's going to die. So far, they are nothing more than following the flow.
• Majijo + Gekioko + Yakuza VS The Gangster (?) + Yabakune

EDIT episode 4

I don't know why the Bad Cop tries to bait Gekioko into the war, but since Yabakune had a relationship arrow with one of the faction i do think that Yabakune have something to do with the whole thing (Including Salt's death).
Now Antonio is obviously angry with Kobii's death and seek revenge to the Yakuza. Sakura who already lost Bakamono and Salt and even asked Takamina to help her stop Otabe will try to stop Antonio.

 

Reading the ending credit.

It says Yuka　”優香”, not Yuko　”優子”.

 

Wait so they let Maeda out of prison?

 

^ I think so. Years have passed after MG2 so i think she's released out of jail

Some thoughts about episode 1-3:

• Season 5 looks nice (and more expensive than season 4).
• If they keep on killing a strong character every episode, there will not be many strong yankees left standing in the end.
• Sakura's skirt is 20 cm shorter than on the last season.

i'm still wondering what antonio did that she was in debt to the yakuza did she owe them $ or was she cheating on one with the other i mean she didn't end up a hostage for no reason

i hope Shimazaki Haruka will back as 'Paruru' character from MG3, like Salt has a twin sister

 

I think the Yakuza young underlings flirt with her and keep bothering her so Antonio beat them up. My 2 cents because the young yakuza are beaten up by the boss.
