wow that MG5 cast photo with tons of cross-mark....yeah MG5 really did a big massacre.

Katabutsu is a minor character in MG5 and she was one of the three Majijo that survived. (Center, Kenpou and Katabutsu)

I really hope Naachan could land a bigger role than Katabutsu in the MG franchise in the future.

 

Considering Katabutsu is one of the remaining characters, there is a possibility that she will have a bigger role in the next season (that is if the director is going to connect the story unlike season 3). The importance of the characters are mainly related to how big or important the members are during the filming of the season. We don't know much push Naachan will receive next year (which I hope will be a lot). Right now there are many pushed members like Mion, Megu, Kojimako, Naanya etc.

Which bring me to this topic: what do you think will happen to Naachan next year? A big push to be one of the next successors of Kami 7 or senbatsu? Or a Center of Undergirls? Is she going to be in a drama? What do you want her to achieve next year?

 

I think Naachan is in a pretty good spot atm.

She's given the vice-captaincy to Juri, who imo, will become one of AKB's leading members.
She's featured in Halloween Night tutorial video.
She's constantly used as replacement for senbatsu member who couldn't attend certain shows.
Being a stronger vocalist among AKB48 next gen means she'll always have a role in singing.
And...

She's one of the ten AKB girls who's selected to act in Gekijourei Kara no Jotaijo
One of the ten, I repeat...

Ah yes, following and learning from Juri may be useful for her to improve interaction skills with her juniors
I do agree she has amazing vocal skills in which she is the only one who impressed me so far in terms of singing, performance aura as well as acting
I just realized aside from Nakano Ikumi and Yui Oguri, she is a lucky member to be a cast among veteran/popular members (too slow to notice lol)

I actually cried watching this - I cannot believe that all of Kabutomu Chu! are going to be gone. Naachan must feel awful losing half of her gen-mates so relatively early in the game.

 

I cried too (currently wiping my tears). Among all, I wanted Nakkii to stay very long, as long as Naachan if possible since I think Nakkii is her closest friend
