They'll probably get something really minor tho. This is kouhaku, they wont go out of their way to accommodate a bunch of lolis
Yeah, there are always 1, 2 performances every yr they get idols to dance behind some older singer and you're wondering like why are they there....... There probably aren't too many of U16 ranking tho unless they get hako oshi support or something
I do remember that some of the girls did perform when they did the whole anime thing (when some of the members were dress up as Sailor Moon) last year. If they are involved in this, I'm going to lol. http://tokusatsunetwork.com/2016/12/godzilla-appear-kohaku-uta-gassen/
Last year there was the Sailor Moon performance with just five(?) members. Something kid oriented would work for four 14 year-olds.
A series of graduations from AKB was mentioned in this idol year-ender list from NTV News 24. http://www.news24.jp/articles/2016/12/27/08350083.html
Returning briefly to this recent discussion, it looks like CDJapan has today also got itself confused between the two: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NE...aign=NMB48-20161228-person_prod-NEOBK-2037926 (I've made a screenshot in case it gets corrected later but note that this is a photo of a 14 year old girl holding a rather large weapon) Spoiler
Don't forget, today is the Kouhaku selection result. Will be aired on NHK today from 7:30PM. https://twitter.com/nhk_kouhaku/status/814124742248513537
AKB48 is running for 'Best Idol Act' and 'Flop Of The Year' in the '2016 Arama Japan Awards'. http://aramajapan.com/news/tvmovie/...he-2016-arama-japan-awards-voting-form/68693/
i actually wonder how they can pull that kind of award in japan... I wonder how that group feel standing in the stage knowing that you are not popular anymore. I bet they actually don't want to appear at all if they knew they will win such kind of award
Nobody in Japan knows what arama japan is. Its basically a useless website for foreigners who can't read japanese to be able to read biased news about the japanese music industry. So I doubt anyone would give a shit whether they were nominated for an arama japan "award" lol
I have a question. Why don't any 48G member (or any idol for that matter) who announces graduation think of franchising a fast food restaurant such as Carl's Jr or Pepper Lunch in case she retires from the entertainment industry? Japan needs more Carl's Jr branches and they could use an ex-idol to manage them.
i thought this award is some kind of important award in japan... if that is so, there is nothing to worry about.. lol
Sorry, not seeing the link between being an idol (where you may have been doing that since you were 14) and having the business skills to run a restaurant.
Some members from each group are in their respective theater (AKB, SKE, NMB, HKT, NGT) anticipating the announcement (NHK Kouhaku). Not all, just some (their respective top members?). Of course SKE is having theater performance, thus they don't show their rep inside the theater. edit: in studio -> Yokoyama Yui, Watanabe Mayu, Matsui Jurina, Yamamoto Sayaka, Sashihara Rino, Kitahara Rie. AKB, NMB, and HKT members are in AKB theater. NGT and SKE are in their respective theater. Lots and lots of retired Sumo wrestlers run bars or restaurants after they retire, does being able to push around another huge man-baby give them special talents to open a restaurant?
