Could be. Nogizaka also had a new album this year, while AKB48 had best album last year (and most were probably counted towards last year's rankings, not this year's), and subsequently, no new original studio album (though there will be one this upcoming February).

Basically they will add the next member in line to cover it. So if Yuiyui or NakoMiku is selected, we will probably not see them and they will add no.49-51. Not really sure. But showroom has a rule for someone below 15yro can't appear after 8pm. Below 16yro can't appear after 9pm and below 18yro after 10pm. AKB will probably appear after 9pm, so I guess at least 16yro. Edit: NakoMiku I think 15yro?
I was wondering how they would do it. I thought they would perform during the first batch to avoid that trouble, but I guess they really want to perform during prime time, so... too bad for the other girls. :/ It's kinda stupid to apply for something and rank in to... not do anything at all in the end. Maybe the real top 48 will get a b-side in the next single? That'd be nice.
BTW, should AKB48 Group hold Draft Kaigi again in the future? I can't imagine draft kaigi without Paruru.
Nah, it's a boring event and there is no need for it when you can get girls through ordinary auditions. In a way it's good because you never know when auditions will happen for X group, so the girls can stack up their teams if they feel like it, but otherwise... meh.
Because among AKB48 draftees, the pushed ones (Sayaya & Hiwatan) are picked Paruru. My friends made a joke that her hand is merciful. BTW, every draft kaigi, I got a new oshimen. Yeah, some of girls joined groups that are far from their home prefectures.
So apparently, under 16 ranked members will get something before 8pm. So if say Nakomiku ranked, they wont appear in AKB perf(next ranked members will move up) but will get show up on something before 8pm.
