Komiharu's growth over the past few years has been so impressive. I was worried when she was announced K captain, but she has given so much effort into the position, and is a great support for the team. And the same for her solo career. She puts a lot of thought into how she can improve and promote herself, for example, her solo photobook project that she designed herself. It's paid off, with work this year such as modelling, clothing collab, lead in a movie etc, but somehow her overall popularity in the group still seem slow. D: (Although, as seen in this ranking, her popularity amongst international fans seems high.) I think she would benefit a lot from an outside agency. I'm a bit sad she is transferring to A, she is losing her captaincy and her close friends in one swoop, but I hope she can use that as a chance to focus more on herself than her team. Sometimes her mails are a bit sad, but she never lets it show in her performances or Showrooms, and she is another member who I love to see in the theatre lineups.

I think this is an unpopular opinion but her new haircut is SO CUTE. She looks like a little doll. All of the ori-eitos have been in the group long enough now that graduation is a worry, but I hope Naru's T4 captaincy means we have a good few years of her left. She's a strong performer (another girl who I love to see in the theatre), and an experienced idol so I think she will make a great captain.

Some side note: I've made some analysis based on previous year and this year's TOP10 is divided equally to 2 groups: 5 AKB48 members and 5 Nogizaka46 members. Interesting... Really interesting.

 

Of the front 3 4th Gen, Ayamen is my favorite.

Basically, with my oshimen graduated Mizuki is my current oshimen in Nogizaka.

The member Nogizaka as a group is going to miss. Not that she was going to be the group's Ace, but because of the her pure soul just is Nogi-like. I wasn't too much of a fan until she decided to graduate, then I realized how much I liked her.

Kaz is just a solid member. There will never be another member like her.

Berin remains my Eito-oshi for another year, for me she's still the top beauty in T8 as well as the top talent, not just in performance but I also enjoy seeing the art which she produces in connection with team events.

My AKB48/48G kami-oshi has just failed to make the top 10 by one place but never mind, at least she's improved her ranking by 25 places compared to last year. Although she didn't make the senbatsu for 'Ne mo Ha mo Rumor' she's had success with her acting career in 2021 by appearing in two movies, most recently in 'Love Reality Show' which was shown at last month's Akiba Screening. I'm sad that she'll no longer be the Team K Captain from next month especially after all the hard work she's put into that position but hopefully she'll do well in Team A and she'll have a good stage partnership there with Naachan. For me she is not only the most beautiful member of AKB48 but the absolute loveliest person to meet in online talks.

I've two left to reveal and I'm excited to see where my Nogi-oshi will rank as it'll be her first time in the top ten!

I ranked her at #1!!! 15 points from me She's the idol that I followed the most in 2021 and this was my first year to really follow her as a fan. This was a great year for her! She was a center for the second time with KimiDoko and I love it (this also had Kaede in the top 3 which made it even better for me *-*), she had a photobook, her own solo theater stage, etc. and now it really feels like she's a big name in HKT and a lot more people know her. I'm so glad for her! ;w; and I'm happy that 9 people voted for her, she ranked up a lot *-* I hope 2022 can be even better for Nappi. I feel that she's becoming more confident now (in variety, performance and generally), and she's always so cute ;w; Let's keep supporting her ^^/

03. Honda Hitomi (+9)
Obligatory "changing IZN to AKB" I never noticed Hitomi before Produce 48, sadly, but she quickly became my 'bias' in IZ*ONE, and she's still one of my most favourite members of AKB48. I'd actually put her in second place, but I thought more people will vote for her than my second choice (Yokochan) and it's only a difference of one point anyway. Hitomi has been a stellar example of what an idol is like, she's put so much effort into the last AKB48 single and she's become an incredibly valuable asset to the group. Other members have also commented on how disciplined Hiichan is and that they feel indebted to her for making sure the choreography for Ne mo Ha mo Rumor has been perfected this much.

16. Murayama Yuiri (+2)
Once the team shuffle will come into effect, Yuiri will be my favourite Team 4 members. I love the fact that she values the theatre so much. It has been considered a place where the unpopular members are shafted due to lack of other opportunities, but Yuiri, a popular senbatsu member, has declared it to be the most important part of AKB in her opinion. I hope it makes more theatre girls feel better about themselves too

02. Yokoyama Yui (Team 8) (+10)
Why did you graduate I'd been interested in Yoko-chan for a while, especially since her Team K kenninship. I was so excited for her to have a solo photobook released, and also her first (and only...) senbatsu position! I'm glad she got a lot of attention during her last months with the group and that she was able to leave on a high!

04. Komiyama Haruka (+8)
Komi has always been the member to me who's got so much potential and could easily be my oshimen, but just always falls short of it. That being said, I adore her and admire how she's grown with Team K, and even if she's never my #1 favourite, she will always be in my top 5, no matter what. I'm so happy for the movie role she got earlier this year. I'm worried about her time with Team A, as she will be surrounded by many extremely popular members, but I hope she can get along with everyone and make new friends quickly!

Morita Hikaru is just such a good, expressive dancer and a cute idol. She so perfectly suits the cool image left over from Keyaki, I'm always excited to see her perform. I'm also happy how she's held up with the pressure being center for the first year of Sakurazaka and excited for what she'll bring us next.
