Nah, she'll take it as a compliment since its an acting job.

For example when you hate a person because he plays as a hateful villain then that means his a great actor for you to feel like that, it also means his acting reaches you.

BTW Acchan brought her first appendix and its the cats again.

For appendix here's what it is. BTW I'm a Computer Engineering Major so I'm not also sure if what I put in the spoiler is correct but that's the closest in the disambiguation.

I don't know why they use the word appendix. All I could find is appendices are the free tote bags that come with magazines in Japan. They are also known as "furoku" which means "gift" I think. Like I said, I don't know what their reasoning for using the word "appendix" is, but Atsuko is basically saying that she purchased her first magazine that came with a free tote bag. My guess would be that she saw the purse and bought the magazine to get the purse because it had cats on it.

I personally would use "add-on" instead of "appendix."

An appendix in the case of a book is something that's appended (or attached) to the back of that book to serve as supplemental material, so likewise the bag in this case sort of counts as an appendix since it's something that's appended to the magazine to serve as supplemental material.

However, "appendix" in the case of the bag sounds unorthodox in English (at least to me as a native English speaker), so I would use "add-on" instead. "Add-on" pretty much conveys the same meaning as "appendix" while not sounding so outlandish.

But that's just me. *shrugs*
