Anyone know about this new rumor regarding Acchan's new drama? I'm a bit surprise when i read this:

Thoughts anyone? Since i haven't watch the drama yet, i'm not in the position to comment on this one

What i feel? I feel bad for Acchan, don't know if the accusation has some truth in it or not, but i feel bad for her. Using Acchan as "the black sheep" for the failure of the drama is just not right

really unfair and unprofessional of them to just blame maeda like that, they should just watch their own show and see that the best parts are the ones with her in it, what with all the splashin

I totally agree. Aachan is one of the best things in that drama. Her acting, how can I say, is believable; definitely, way better than Yamapi. The problem with that drama is the theme of death. It is so unappealing!

Even if the blame is real and this isn't a rumor, it certainly isn't Atsuko's fault. I've been watching the drama, and although it isn't the best I've seen, I don't consider it to be horrible. I definitely love the comedic relief of Atsuko throwing food all over the dining room in each episode. I personally am a fan of Atsuko's acting, simply because I think her toned-down personality is very cute , but I would agree that from the shows I have seen, she doesn't often get a character who is upbeat and enthusiastic (like in Hana Kimi) which I think if given more opportunities she could fill those sort of roles as well. What do you expect from a girl has a disabled leg, lost her father and mother, her eldest brother is missing, and she works in a funeral parlor? There really isn't much to put into that sort of character.

I think the low ratings are definitely linked the theme of death and the funeral parlor, however, if they had worked to create a stronger sense of suspense in the drama, to make it more "dramatic" it might be going over better than it is. I don't think any of the characters are necessarily doing a bad job acting, you just have to consider the roles they are playing the lives the characters live in. It simply isn't an exciting atmosphere.

ATSUKO!!! EAT ALL THE CAKES!!! They look delicious and she's so frail. Need to add a little meat on her bones so she doesn't get hurt easily when she's beating up all those gangs in the back streets.

WOW!!! NEW PHOTOBOOK!!! When can we preorder this? If those are pics from the book that I definitely WANT!!! Atsuko, you shouldn't tease us so much with photo's like that. [blush] :nb:

Woah!, why are they blaming Acchan? As if people would avoid a show just protest on an actress appearing on it. That's too childish to even think about. Its the show's concept I believe. When a producer and a Director says its a good take then what ever happened to that episode is the responsibility of the post production staff, why blame the actress who only did her best based on the directors specifications.

P.S. I haven't been watching it so its all IMO.

Now, if she gain some weight, I won't defend her anymore its all her fault.

Wow HP is fast in changing their CM girls. I don't have anything about Kaoru but why include her in this, it could have been an all first gen CM... I wanna see Miichan and Takamina instead.

Preordered mine as well! If you like the free shipping option then Yes Asia is cheaper, however if you prefer tracking and signature, then CDJapan is cheaper. Their shipping costs are more, but the actual price cut on the items themselves is significantly cheaper than Yes Asia. With tracked shipping, total cost was $3 cheaper on CDJapan and the more you are ordering the bigger the gap gets. I personally prefer to track my shipment when I order more expensive things that I don't want to get lost in the postal system.

Can't wait for this photobook to arrive. Just got Atsuko's DVD in the mail today as well!
