Thank you for posting the translation, Her speech is really good, I think I will try and apply it to my life by opening to new ways and building a new strong generation ( I think I shall use some parts of it for my business speech

Sort of Ironic in a little way that she is sort of this Years Yukirin by beating Yukirin to 2nd place, still she has really got public support behind her now I feel with a great run of publicity and results and she can really step up from her now to, well, the only place left to step up too!

and as Jul points out, seems as though it's gonna take more than a rankings battle to get her and her Mum apart!

beside, she was like a proud mum really!

Did you notice when Yukirin's name was called, Mayuyu's expression was like OMG like she was not expecting it. I wonder what she thought at the moment [wonder] . I think she must have really appreciated Yukirin's sacrifice for her

That's quite a sacrifice Yukirin made for her daughter. [angel]
It's complicated. But their bond will be getting stronger from now on.
Now if I have to see Yukirin got beaten by someone to 1st place, it would be only Mayuyu who is allowed to beat her (and I'm not talking about Yuko here).

But, if Sasshi manage to beat both Mayuyu and Yukirin, then I'll be damned.

OMG, this Mayuki/Sasshi relationship is driving me crazy.
They're so interesting together.
Mother-daughter, and good friends. But rivals.

And eventhough Yuki's a bit sad, I'm sure that among other Team B members, she's the most proud to see her daughter get 2nd place.

Jeez, my heart sank so much when she got called 2nd at the Sousenkyo. Even though I knew that Yuko was going to win, I so wanted her to take the prize. IDK there's just something about Mayu that makes me want to see her succeed. She's a good little performer, and has a decent voice. I think if she matured her image just a bit, she could be the next face of AKB. No offense to Yuko, but Mayu's voice is leaps and bounds better. & I don't believe we should have a center who is just a good dancer or slightly amusing. Mayu has the package, she just needs to keep perfecting her craft.
