Do we have numbers to compare with last year's voting single?
Also, even forgetting about ratios, just in straight terms of blocks sold, HKT has more than NMB, which is pretty good.

Thanks. If I'm reading this right, Murashige didn't start selling out blocks till the 4th round, and 6 of her blocks didn't sell out until 5&6. While in this single, she already had 8 blocks sold out after the 3rd round. I see the same trend with a number of other girls. Though the third round this time was 4 days long, and I don't remember how long it was last time, so maybe it's just a case of having had more time to sell out.

Pretty disappointed by the numbers from a few girls though. Especially Wakatabe. I know Wakatabe isn't that popular, but I didn't think it was to the point of her not being able to sell out any blocks thus far. She, Shimono, and Ueki were all cut from the senbatsu at the same time, and they all have 8 slots. I always kind of considered them on the same general level. Yet Ueki and Shimono have managed to sell out all 8 of their slots, while Wakatabe still hasn't done one.

 

What is with this fandom and Wakaharu? She is F*ing great, yet she seems to be completely ignored. Boogles my mind!!!

Oh these results look quite decent actually. Especially senbatsu.. I think they picked the right girls this time.

Only real concern in Yukachan though. She hasn't been selling for the last two singles I think, and it wouldn't surprise me if they would give her the boot next single for some other girl. Natsumikan would make sense with her concurrency but then she's doing even worse than Yuka haha. Could Nao make a comeback?

Wakachan's results are sad. Can't sell out a block despite being voted the prettiest by the other HKT girls and being the funniest girl in HKT in my opinion. Is she such an awkward handshake experience? Or is there some othe reason?

It's been around 500 days since most of 2nd gen got their G+ and 800 days since 1st gen got theirs. Girls like natsumikan, yukachan and yuutan got theirs some time later.

 

I think Yuka is suffering from NakoMiku exposure since she isn't the main loli of HKT anymore. She's still a cutie though >w<;

 

Agree with @moonlit about Akiyoshi. She used to be the smallest cutie among a sea of cuties. Now with NakoMiku in addition to her ongoing growth spurt, that just is not the case. She is, in my opinion, one of the funnest to watch on stage. Just filled with so much energy, and is endlessly goofy. I am hoping that Akiyoshi can funnel it into something akin to Chori's character. There is a substantial void in the comedy aspect now that Chori is leaving. Akiyoshi has the raw skills to fill it. But can she? Or will she even try? Those are the questions I have about Yukachan.

 

Shino at the bottom of G+ views, I wonder why. Is she just generally unpopular with HKT fans? I feel like she posts more interesting things than many members.

So.... when are we getting new profile pics of the girls? I remember last year we got new profile pics somewhere around early April.

 

as soon as the shonichi of the new stages hit from what I think. They'll be wearing new costumes, so they'll probably take photos with those.

 

Just a guess, but it might have to do with her lackluster behavior in stages. She usually doesn't interact with the other girls in MCs. When it's her turn to talk she simply recites a few memorized sentences as fast as possible to get it over with. So she sort of blends into the background. Lately I noticed that she's been trying to change that, to be a little more talkative. Also that I4U thing (unofficial unit with Shino, Harutan, Yurianee and Mashiro) could help her to set herself apart a little too.

Probably soon. If I'm not mistaken old Team H has no more activities together, and the senshuuraku of Nounai Paradise on Monday will be the last activitty of the KKS as they are now. So pretty soon the shuffle will take effect and I think the profiles will be updated to reflect that.

 

I really thought wakatabe was more popular...

 

It's not that there's anything wrong with Wakachan, I'm sure she's well liked, her results just show the difference between liking a girl and supporting a girl. It's easy to post online about how pretty or funny she is, it takes a couple of seconds and doesn't cost anything. Buying a 1000+ yen CD to shake hands with her for a few seconds is something completely different and harder for a lot of people to justify, both time and cost wise.
It doesn't help that she gets little exposure and push either so many people don't even know her.

 

Ah, really sad about wakachan. She gets more push if she gets trigger from another member. From i know in hs from tsugi, its kind a rather dull from me. Idk, hopefully i'm wrong. Really sad aboyt riinu too, same fate as wakachan. Btw, any updates yet?
