Keep calm people. 1,450,000 is not the number of sales.
It's the number of singles on sale (the number of singles shipped to the stores to be sold).

It's still an huge number.

Million first day? Unlikely - and not even the handshakes AND election tickets would help to reach that goal. 1 Million weekly sales, however, is completely achievable (and looking increasingly likely, judging from previous historical demand translated to actual sales).

I would agree with this

I'm guessing probably up to and a little over 700k for the first day, and by judging the trends I would say that the 1 million sales mark will be passed in the week, I would not say by a massive amount though....

I dunno... I wouldn't be surprized if AKB don't make it do a million in the first day, but I think if they are gonna do it this is the single.
