I've read on Tokyohive this is suppose to be a 'sakura' song with a graduation theme. I also read a long while back that "Sakura no Ki ni Narou' was suppose to be their last sakura song.
Graduation theme abit worried since my favorite member, is one of the oldest member.

I'm a little confused about the whole Sakura single thing. I mean, I noticed that they seem to release one every year, but is it just because it has Sakura in the title and has the same kind of theme? Or is there something more to it? Sorry if that's a dumb question but I don't really know how that kind of thing works. LOL

^ I'm curious about this as well, as I'm a newer fan. I passively noticed the usage of "sakura" themes but didn't realize it was a yearly occurrence.

Personally, graduation songs just depress me. I can't listen to the end of episodes of Majisuka Gakuen without feeling down. Too somber! >.<

Did I seriously write Gakuen Heaven at first? WHY.

As long as it's not another ballad it will be fine with me.

Hopefully they go for a different type of Sakura song this time, maybe more upbeat or I don't know.

personally I'm fine with a ballad song, maybe like 'Sakura no Ki ni Narou' though I'm hoping the PV will have more members without Akimoto Sayaka being pushed out. though I hope this isn't foreshadowing Mariko's graduation ?

Wouldn't of thought so, the only one I can think of would be a Team 4 member if they have one (I accept at least Sayaka from NMB) Of coure Minarun will be back by then and she would be an interesting choice to put into the senbatsu, apart from that, maybe Paruru, she has been on a few performances with the AKB senbatsu recently perhpas hinting at something for this single?

That's not real come on. Although a song called "MACHINE GUN attacks the cherry bikini and graduation" could be interesting and something different, I don't think that is what Aki-P would consider appropriate.

If Aki P can call a single "Everyday, Headband" or "Flying Get" then how is Sakura No Bikini To MACHINE GUN Kougeki Sotsugyou any different? It's an awesome single title and sounds totally legit. :music:
