Looks like AKB48 was #1 today (3rd Week, 7th Day Sales). 60,795 copies sold today which makes the total now 992,085 (Nogizaka46 was #2 btw).

Are these additional sales also connected with the theater editions sold for the extra HS date? But whatever, it's good to know that the million streak is almost certain to be continued.

The sales have more to do with the extra hs event

 

They wouldve reached 1m if they do auto resales Nogi style without having to bare the cost of an extra handshake day (well not this week but a few weeks later). NMB Must Be Now is still selling 10k+ every week because of this.

 

I agree it was desperate and could well be quite costly.

I wonder why they don't do auto resales? Too many application rounds for the other 48 groups and they wouldn't want to interfere with sister groups too much? Maybe they don't care whether they sell 1,000,001 or 1,100,000 and would rather see those sales go elsewhere? I really do wonder

Just watched the Music Station Super Live. If 18-nin was possible for KnBMB why the heck did they not include Milky and Haruppi in the senbatsu?! smh

I agree they should apply Nogi's system like NMB is doing. They can stay longer in the charts and fill the initial dates easier, instead of booking a whole new venue for a day.
