Ok, I'm trying to explain my point better.
By this place, I mean this forum where most viewers are watching the broadcast through unofficial ways. It's not for nothing that some of those streams are chased an taken down.
Most of us who are not the targeted audience, who are not supposed to watch the program are really not in the best position to complain.
If you think you are legitimate to, then send NTV a protest letter , maybe they are in need of a good laugh before work.
The only criticism they care about are the one from Japan where their money comes from.

 

And they did get it.
Fans overseas might have watched the Fuji stream through whatever method, but even Japanese people who were not present at the event itself were stuck with that same stream.
Or do you think Japanese fans are more "understanding" simply because they can watch Fuji in a legitimate way?

 

I never said they are more understanding, don't missinterpret.
But they are legitimate to protest.

 

Darn so it's still the same setup last year. Oh well....at least we get to enjoy watching the speeches from the lower ranks.

We are sacrificial lambs for japanese fans.

To have something legit for us would mean a stream on Gyao or youtube. But that would also mean less reason for japanese fan to watch bs skappa and Fujit TV. Not only those two have bought exclusive right, we are a tear drop in the wota fanbase ocean, so pretty much expendable toward AKS eyes.

I don't feel guilty seeking help from taiwan stream.

We're allowed to complain about whatever the hell we want to complain about. It has nothing to do with us not being Japanese.

I'm only saying that I come from a place where live broadcasts have planned commercial breaks so as to not truly interrupt the show. Last year's FujiTV broadcast was the first live show I've ever seen where the commercials literally happen DURING the thing itself. It was a foreign concept to me. It's jarring and rubs me the wrong way, since I've seen it done properly for numerous live programs in the past.

 

Apologies if this question is already in this thread already but is the BS Sky and Fuji TV broadcasts free for viewing or is it a subscription service?

 

We international fans make do with (very free) unofficial streams of these broadcasts. Check in the Stage48 IRC chat (the oft-missed "Chat" button on the right side of the navigation bar) as the event is starting for stream links. I know, everyone wants to be prepared and have a link ready weeks in advance but they only really start popping up the day of.
