Sorry for being a bit off topic, but it made me wonder, how come Jurina wasn't taken by a big agency like ohta, ogi, or horipro?

Or is Irving, her agency, big/respected enough in the industry and I'm just unaware? Thanks.

 

I don't know clearly, but this agency not strong... may be it's enough for her? She has NAME, and her Big Name work's on her. also AKS love her, AkiP too.
Sassi agency OhtaPro #1. This agency with AKS and King Records did Acchan, Yuko and Sasshi! Some times I think because Mayuu not in OhtaPro she hadn't any chance win again. Her 1st place was be just Ohtapro mistakes... but it's conspiracy theory
These agencies great not because they invite BigName in show-biz, these agencies make people famous, not always of course, but usually! they have technologies of influence and influence (connections, power) in social media, on television, newspapers, radio, big business. They can get a major advertising contract. No matter Asahi beer or new Sony CM. And of course yakuza...

OgiYuka plans to join HoriPro. Although it is a big agency, it does not have much influence on AKS. Most of HoriPro girls in AKB are underdog (except WTomomi). HoriPro also has too many people, thus it has very different treatments & promotions to different people.

Unless she signed to OhtaPro or Burning Entertainment, I do not think AKS is forced to promote her when they do not want. Hey, Churi has Avex...

I imagine the adjustment will put it at 1.1, with Billboard being 1.5 or so.

Good sales, but they feel a bit meh when they haven't promoted this at all.
I wonder if music shows are ignoring them or its the girls being too busy to be on shows?

Well, another million-seller in the books. 36th #1 single, 31st million seller (30 consecutive). Almost 1.1 million but not quite though.

Anyways, with that, AKB48 has surpassed Ayumi Hamasaki for the highest-selling female artists with ~51.3 million (~51,298,000) CDs sold (compared to Ayu's ~50,675,000, and for sure her CD sales are all but dead).

But why hasn't anyone posted the Billboard/Soundscan sales numbers yet??? We typically see it before Oricon's sales numbers come. Hmm...

Yeah, I'm surprised at the lack of TV performances this single was bringing... this is pretty much a summer single! And now this is September, so summer's pretty much over (well, the autumnal equinox is later this month, but September is back to school/business)...

 

Soundscan Japan (Via Billboard Japan) has it at 1,459,446 Units Sold Week 1.

27 more million-sale singles to be first, in the case B'z doesn't release any more single . That makes about 7 years of release, keep up the hardwork, folk

 

I finally had time to listen to all the songs and wow, this is the first A-side that actually has an "AKB" feel in a long time--though it's a SSK single! I love the happy feeling that #Sukinanda gives me. My BF thinks that it's a good song too, which is a feat because he doesn't like idol songs. I bought the Type-B version and he really liked the B-sides too.

Did AKS finally sell their soul to YouTube Red? But now I no longer have to use another proxy

 

All I know is that I get to re-watch a lot of old school AKB again and the new stuff too!
