I sure as hell don't, Have had him on block for the last couple of years now (giving how annoying he is). Don't get why people are giving him attention (when it's something he wants)?

Senbatsu member Ota Yuuri announced that she will be taking a break.. I wonder what's going to happen to her position.

I hope she's taking a break to prepare for this single. Sayanee commented on SR recently that Yuuri is taking a break to rest her mind (mental)

 

When Okada heard, she said something similar. She wished Yuuri would use this chance to rest body and mind. So, may be something to that.

Of course, this is the young lady how fainted during a performance not too long ago (the thud when her head hit ground... ) And was back to work maybe a bit too soon from that. IMO.

Either way. I hate to see any of these girls sick or injured. I hope she finds what she needs to be healthy AND happy.

 

It worked perfectly well for me, especially in bingo thread. The peace of mind of not having mindfu*ked is totally worth it.

I hope Yuuri gets better soon. It is her first AKB senbatsu after all.

On topic, yeah I just heard about Oates is taking a hiatus due to poor health. Hope she comes back in time for the single recordings.

 

Really hope Yuuri is fine by the time they have to record and film this.
But yeah, a few weeks off could do wonders for many of the girls.

No. She's center because she's a hard worker who takes everything she does seriously, a great singer and performer, has a powerful stage aura, is an example and a friend to other members, and she's had a lot of both successes and hardships recently that can be woven into a strong narrative. And much though I preferred her old haircut, her new short cut makes her stand out more from the other members, and stick more in the mind of viewers, another important quality for a center.

I don't know if there's any truth to it, but I've seen it suggested they chose her for center at the last minute, because of how well-received her solo concert was (it's still getting rave reviews in the news).

 

Naachan is the center mainly because she's the most popular AKB new gen

 

And why is she popular?

 

Is there any particular reason why Nako isn't in senbatsu but Miku is? Don't they look the same and have the same character essentially?

What makes one more desirable to the management than the other one?

There are many reasons why she is popular, I'll leave it to other people to elaborate. What I meant is she's the most popular thats why they choose her, the details why she is popular is not significant at the management level imo

But if you really want a reason then simply Miku is more popular than Nako right now.

 

No. They're quite different actually. Nako is more orthodox (although not 100% the way I see it) and your imouto. Miku is a fisher and a gravure idol. Miku is winning now thanks to... you know!
