Single AKB48 9th [Baby! Baby! Baby!] 08/06/13

Well, I wouldn't really compare it to a H!P song, since I've liked loved all H!P recent releases (well it's extremly rare I don't love a H!P release - maybe some of the boring solo works, but don't really care about that anyway :roll: ), and this song it's kinda.. bleh for me. For now at least, it's not bad, but it's not very interesting either. Maybe I'll like it after a few more listens.

Maybe Akimoto has discovered Tsunku's crack supplier? XD

Keep it on loop & it'll probably grow on you. Remember how most of us weren't too crazy about "Romance, Irane" when the previews surfaced?

 

I thought almost everyone liked it besides me and a few other people? XD (I like it now, of course.)

 

Why was Tsunku here? Where is Akimoto-sama?

I won't like it unless they have a PV like "Romance, Irane" (oops but it is digital; don't know there is a PV or not )

Well, it's poppy.

I dunno how to feel it, it's catchy.. but it's just doesn't sound AKB48 to me. It's a bit generic.

Why can't they pull another keibetsu/seifuku? I really do miss their dark idol image.

Agreed 100%. It's catchy, but oh-so-generic. I was intrigued by AKB in the first place because of PVs like Keibetsu, and, well, the craziness of the shooting in the Ashita wa Chocolove PV. This is just so... sub-par compared to all of that.

What I really don't understand is how they release AMAZING whole stages like B3 and K4-- which only have one or two "weak links" in them-- but then we get this as the single release.

 

You know what, I'm not so mad anymore about this single being a mobile-only release...because the song sucks...a lot. Its so damn generic and boring its not funny.

Hopefully we'll get a real, worthwhile single soon after this travesty is released.
