The band unit from HKT48, YuRara, KadoIshi MiHo (Chiho and Miyu from STU48), NakoMikuMeruBoss.

 

This sounds complicated at first but now i think it will be rly fun
As of now i dont know which unit i want to be formed yet but i kinda want a dance unit. Like Tano Yuka with Honma Hinata and Team 8's Yui? I just want sth real fun.

 

Still sounds too complicated though I'll just enjoy the tournament and hope the eventual winner will be a good unit.

 

Units revelead so far.

- Miichan, Sasshi, Yukirin
- Imomu-chu! (Tani Marika, Sakaguchi Riho, Tomiyoshi Asuka, Komada Hiroka).

 

Only 48 participants?! Even they're in units, but, I wonder AKS only rent Gaishi Hall only for 2 hours

Time is perfect to do Kizaki Yuria's graduation concert the previous day.

 

Not going to lie, I'm having mixed feelings about this whole unit thing. It concerns me because what if member A wants to work with members B and C but all the other slots are full and they can only go in duos? What if A only wants to work with B and/or C? What if they don't want to go solo? While the unit thing is fresh and interesting, I'm not too fond of the whole member-choose-their-own-unit concept. Also, it might not seem like it but I do believe that bullying can be a case within the 48G so I wouldn't be surprised if some girls are hurt by this event. After all, if you aren't particularly close with any members and/or having members that prioritize others over you, it can be a real pain. I like that the winner(s?) get to sing with their unit though. The solo girls can also get a shot at a solo debut as well

Anyways, I would like to see the following units:
-Three Musketeers (Kojimako, Naachan, Miichan*)
-Naachan + Noepii
-Megu + Yuiri + Naachan
-Yuihan + Juri + Naachan (super unlikely but )
-Tomu sisters
-Nomura sisters (if Nao didn't leave by then)
-Rei + Suzu
-Mayuyu + NakoMiku
-(Kinoshita) Momoka SOLO
-

*I know that Miichan has already decided to team up with Sasshi and Yukirin but...

I think all slots will be fully and they will have to do preliminaries.
The members are obligated to participate? Maybe they don't want to participate if they don't have friends Or maybe they will go as solo unit.

And Nomura sisters are impossible because Nao announced her graduation and she can't participate.

And I'm feel sorry about AKB48 members. Janken was a good opportunity for them because they had priorities. But now Janken is a more 48 group event than a AKB event + some 48 group members.

 

Most likely, they will rent it for 1 week or so.
Don't forget to count the time to prepare the venue, hold the actual event then clean the venue.

 

Putting up and down the stage is basically one day each.

Is the Yuria thing confirmed? It would be fitting to have her graduation in Nagoya.

 

Even you can putting down it in the midnight after the event, less than a day.

They can only go up to 16 members.

 

Surprised they are giving duos 20 slots. Pushing the shipping BS.

I assume one person for each unit does the janken.
So if I understand this correctly, Team 8 should enter in X-duos as that gives them a higher chance for a CD where they can put a 47nin B-Side on.
Instead of going for one 16nin unit.

 

So they found a way to shorten the final phase event
No more individual girls entrance (well 2 max)
No more blocks rounds
5 rounds of janken matches (assuming they might go for 48 = > 24 => 8 => 4 => 2 => 1)

I suppose there will be some (short as well) qualification rounds

Well, they will have more chances that way instead of 2 big units with higher chances of being eliminated early.

 

This is a really interesting way to shake up this event. I like it a lot.

Of course I would like Naachan's unit to win. But she already has so much on her plate with being a heavily pushed AKB member and STU kennin, it might not be a great idea. Then agian, Sayanee managed to balance that much and more so maybe it's possible. It would be fun if she paired up with Kojimako and Yuiri in a trio. Or Megu and Yuiri? kekeke

Honestly though the objectively best outcome is probably for a group of relative unknowns to win. This event gets a lot of publicity and the only way some of these girls are ever going to see the A-side of a single is if they win at this event. So I'm also going to be rooting for units like that. The Sasshi/Yukirin/Miichan trio is really...eww for me All 3 of them have already been in officially sponsored units, for so long that all of them have since broken up. They also all need to graduate...

[edit] Oh yeah, it would be super cute if Tomu and Orin were in a unit together!

 

They could still do the block round actually (12 units in 4 blocks, if they are going with 48 of them).

Ota Yuuri + Juri, that's one I want to see but there are many possibilities.
