AKB48 member of the year 2008 results!

^ Four of my Top 10 are in the Top 10 for S48 and five in overall.

Kind of interesting how different the results are for S48 and the Stage Showdown.

 

I have to say that I did something like that, and I don't feel guilty about it at all. If I don't feel a member should be named 'The AKB48 Member of the Year,' I'll vote against her. I like all of the girls in AKB48, so I wouldn't vote 'against' any of them based solely on how low they are in my ranking.

 

Oh...well, I thought Waffle meant that some people gave minus points to some girls out of spite against the fan who likes the girl...

For example, someone could've given Yuko negative points b/c he or she was thinking, "Damnit! I hate giddy! He's such an ass!"

But yeah...I don't think we'd accomplish much milling over this topic...

Hmm, apparently I don't need to be a Mikipomu cheerleader after all. I need to be a Gussan cheerleader. D: And SARA. God, I'm really upset by that! Reinyan's spot is pretty frustrating, too.

I'm glad Nacchan at least got a decent spot, though.

It's not surprising that all the top spots are all front girls ... I guess that's why they're front girls x'D.

Oku may be on the bottom but she also got 41 positive votes too. Even though she is ranked the lowest overall, there are 39 negative and only 6 positive for Guusan and she placed higher then Oku. So you really need to take the positive and negative votes into account to really get a bigger picture of who's the most liked and disliked.

If more people knew about Team B, besides the obvious ones like Cindy and Yukirin, I think those girls could have done better.

IMHO She is getting a little pretentious and I think some people are just tired of seeing her in the center of every little AKB thing. There's a lot of other girls in AKB worthy of the attention she gets.

 

In stage48, Acchan got the highest negative votes in the top 28, and second only to meetan in top 65, yet she still manage to be on 3rd post (she would be on 1st with a big lead if there's no - votes).

Mayuyu got pretty high negative votes too. I guess that's just the cost of being popular.

Surprisingly, without - votes, Hayano Kaoru scored just below Kitahara
Rie! Not bad at all!

I'm SO pleased with Yukirin and Mikipomu's positions on the list. Miki jumped 10 points up from last year's ranking, and Yukirin went up six points.

THIS made me sad though:

Looks like I better get going and try to spread some more love for those four! They're way better than... their spots in the negatives!

And I was surprised by #1. My prediction for this year was Sae. Because... she's Sae. You can't hate her. Unless you're one of the people that gave her negative points to get her to the -6, apparently. I mean... come onnnnn. Embrace the Genking, guys!
