AKB48 Question & Answer

Guess we can use this to identify the many, many girls in AKB48. I'll start off. This may be impossible until I actually get there, but it's really bugging me. Who is this girl from Team B who took Sae's role in Blue Rose? I can so far only tell Shiho from that clip (doing Megumi's role), but I really, really love this girl's voice.





I'll find out when I see them I guess, but just in case anyone knows, please feel free to shed light on who any of these girls are, but especially this one!

It's Yonezawa Rumi.

The other girls are Urano Kazumi and Inoue Naru.

Does anyone actually know what foreign blood Oku Manami has?

I've just been curious about it for a long while, I'm always curious as to what other nationality mixed idols have in Japan.

 

As you know, it is known that Akimoto Sayaka's mother is Filipino.
But no one knows what foreign blood Oku has since she hasn't talked about it.

 

I totally forgot Sayaka's mother was a Filipina, actually That's awesome! Haha.

Ah well, hope Oku mentions it one day, to kill my curiousity.

Since her mother is Filipino, she speaks little English.

 

I'm sure she'd know a little Tagalog (the local language here) as well, that makes it more awesome

 

There's a question. How many of the girls can speak English? I've heard Kayo say some random stuff now and then.

 

On Jonathan Ross's Japanorama(a pretty good and funny documentary about modern Japanese culture that was shown on BBC), there was an episode on otaku which briefly featured AKB48, and Kawasaki Nozomi greeted the camera in english. It's not clear really how much she knows since all she did was introduce herself, but she did a good job of it.

 

In that Aitakatta thing Nozomi did her bit in English too, her pronounciation is really good...

 

Let's imagine one day you talk with Sayaka in Tagalog. That's really cool.

BTW, Kawasaki is studying English and Spanish. I don't know how much she can speak these languages, though.
And the others, except for Akimoto, don't probably speak English though they would know some English words and sentences.
Tara, you should go to the theatre to teach them English since you are in Japan.

 

I know some of the girls have quite bad English (Acchan and Takamina have tried and failed, haha). If I do get to see any of them, I'll test it out

I love Japanorama, Season 3 isn't that good though. I have the Otaku episode, I'll try and upload it ASAP (it might take a while though )

I think, talking about the Nozomi Kawasaki thing, she probably has some foreign blood in her as well. She's a real beauty :heart:

Nozomi's English isn't bad actually. Terribly cute. But the wota freak me out, as usual.
